They had no idea where they were going with the plot. I actually did enjoy most of it up to the second movie though.

You need to watch the movies just for SOME resolution. The ending of the TV series pretty much meant dick in regards to the overall plot.

I have only watched the show and it was bad. I remember people were hyped about it, but then it turned out to be an incoherent fuck fest, and yeah fuck all those stupid Johnny references.
