This is one of those times where I think Hori might've laid it on a bit too thick.

Like Endeavor is so fucking despicable he makes me feel like a tumblrite. Shigaraki at least has a monumentally fucked up childhood to blame for his murderous tendencies- he was flat out manipulated into being a psychopath.

Endeavor's fucking feefees were hurt because he's merely the second best hero ever. So his scheme is to use his wealth and power to basically arrange a marriage and joylessly fuck his property until she produces optimal spawn, which he thinks he can shape into a better hero than All Might by uh...kicking his ass at 5 years old.

Shouto going back to learn from Endeavor is really fucking gross. I wouldn't think there was anything worth learning from him since whatever drives him produced basically a monster. I can't imagine wanting to be like him in any capacity if I had to live with him.

It's really a shame we only get 13 episodes and IF we get another season it'll be next year because if they give Todoroki's past and flashbacks the full treatment and don't cut anything out it'll send tumblr and non-/a/ shippers fleeing in horror. There's people who get severely agitated by Bakugou's abuse of Izuku- imagine if they see what Todoroki grew up with.

That's easily explainable, both manga and anime use very androgynous faces as base for certain types of characters, namely kids and teens, and as such, just a few tweaks allows for the face to look either like a boy or a girl depending on the lines being either sharper or rounder.
Looking at that pic that was posted, unlike regular Kacchan, "She" has rounder, softer eyes even if slightly, and a smaller nose and chin, not much different, but different enough that slapping a pair of breasts, hips and blush will make your brain do the rest.
Also take this Deku >>142536602 as another example, the only difference here is the longer hair and how it's styled and a change of attire, but that's already enough.

At least the shit Endeavor did is more self contained and despite the shit he went through, Shouto is a pretty straight laced kid. Endeavor is also the best at closing cases, and he's a hero worthy of rank #2 where heroics are concerned.

the reasoning that changed my mind was that the japs were already wanting to surrender before we dropped the nukes. they were trying to get a better deal by holding out longer. they hoped that Russia/Stalin would mediate a peace agreement but like that first article that was posted itt from the FP website was saying, that idea fell through when Russia declared war. so when negotiating a better peace deal was out of the question, they took the US's demand for more-or-less unconditional surrender over being invaded by commies.

its like, the Japanese already felt defeated when the nukes fell. they already knew they lost. and the article convinced me that dropping the nukes didn't make them feel more defeated. and in such the dropping of the nukes didn't push the japs to surrender any quicker, it was the commie's declaration of war and the sudden inability for the japs to negotiate a better peace deal that did. even if the bombs scared the japs shitless, they didn't feel more defeated than they previously did.

also, the FP article's reasons of why japan claimed to have surrendered because of only the bombs make sense, even though the FP site put them in a slanted bashing-america way. The emperor wanted a way to say that Japan lost because of a miracle weapon and not because of mistakes made, it would get international sympathy and it would please the victors, America. I still believe the bombs fucked with Japan's leaders, but that still doesn't mean they felt more defeated than they did previously, and that their sliver of hope to negotiate a better deal evaporated with the commie's declaration of war.

well, you're right. the assumptions made by the people are baseless/sourceless. plus its a jew site so I'm taking what it says with a grain of salt.
I do see other sites talking about how the bombs only provided the japs a 'good justification for ending the war', but yeah, there is no solid evidence that the japs really did only use the bombs as a 'good justification to end the war.'

its just to me, the case that the japanese already felt defeated and bombed to shit before the nukes fell is undeniable, therefore being a little more bombed to shit after the nukes wouldn't push them into surrender much more. so therefore to me, FP's reasons of why the emperor 'used the bombs as a convenient excuse to end the war' is just the logical explanation of his actions because I already feel the nukes didn't change the japanese's defeatist mindset or goals.

if the baselessness of the assumptions made by people in interpreting the Emperor's admission of defeat because of the bombs makes their whole story fall apart to you, I would say that's entirely reasonable. its just not enough for me to believe that the nukes changed the japanese's mindset or goals at all beyond reaffirming them how fucked they are

btw i'm definitely not saying that I believe that the Soviet's declaration of war won the war against Japan, like the FP article so boldly (proudly?) claims, but it played a part in the Japanese's logical procession to conceding unconditional surrender. the americans were the ones who fought the japanese into realizing that they wouldn't be able to win the war in the first place, the most important aspect of their surrender. also
