I, Angelise Ikaruga Mitsurugi, wish to here provide an explanation regarding the altercation which occurred at the bathhouse between myself and Squadron Number One Captain Thalia.
On the occasion of my daily sorties, my performance has been spectacular, and thinking about it now this was more than enough to make Captain Thalia jealous. However, for my part, I knew nothing of the captain's envy and unfounded slandering of me, and I had no idea whatsoever about the captain's mounting day-to-day stress.
Even when the captain came to me at the bathhouse my only thought was that she had come to praise my usual work, Further, even when Captain Thalia came at me with a knife, I though that this was a unique manifestation of the captain's affection and I accepted the challenge without a thought.
I knocked away the captain's knife, and after some bare-handed fighting, we entered into a battle with scrubbing brushes, and I felt that it was actually beating her that would meet her expectations, and so before I knew it, I had won a total victory. As far as this goes, I believe my behavior is as it normally is in my day-to-day life, but I have come to learn through this incident that my being elegant and luxurious causes some people to feel envy.
I am guilty of no wrongdoing or misconduct in this incident, and I myself am not to blame in the slightest, so I can improve nothing, but if it may be said that the mere perfection of my existence begat it, then I do offer some apology.

Maybe but they didn't expect it to sell a lot in the first place. The VAs, especially Nana were a good buff for the show's popularity, the robots were generally disliked by the usual Bandai fanbase. Of course it's not a gundam, don't expect it to outsell everything else. The RDs still meet their preorder criteria, and they are quite costly compared to other RDs. The company made their money on them. Who cares of dime people want to get rid of them after they paid the price. I even might sell the basic Vilkiss once I get the Freedom one.

Also you can preorder from sites like BIJ, which is a proxy but it virtually works like a normal shop.

Isn't it a proof of how fun and good this show was? Animes like IBO and Greco never head threads like this after they finished airing. They are always filled with hate and /m/ flame wars. Anime should be measured by how much you were entertained and not by how little you were annoyed by it.

Sayaka Ono was the character designer. She's mostly worked as a key animator and has some experience with working on mecha shows. She was also an assistant character designer for Valvrave and I'm guessing that's what got her the job for Cross Ange.

As someone who browsed and posted extensively in almost all of the Cross Ange and Mayoiga threads, I can assure that you're wrong.

The CA threads were discussion about the show, speculation, OC and people taking the bait from that guy who used G-Reco, /co/ and /tv/ reaction images (I'm sure it was the same guy). The threads only lost steam near the end, when there was nothing to discuss and everyone was waiting for the finale. Overall the threads were fun, even when the second half of the story was divisive.

The Mayoiga threads are like that... only the day after the week's episode airs. The rest of the day is just memes, shitposting and photoshop. It's so bad that I stopped participating on them a couple weeks ago.

- Cross Ange has parallel universes and dimensional travel so it's easy to integrate in a SRW game
- Cross Ange has few mechas so it's cheap to get into a SRW. See: Gargantia.
- G-Reco is a gundam show so it will get its chance to shine sooner than later; same with IBO.
- Cross Ange is a Sunrise property so it's easier to get it into a SRW than something from another studio, like A/Z.
- Valrave... no idea why they ignored it.
