Anyone else think that Yottsun may actually be Mikage in the future? Yes, i know it sounds retarded at first, but just think about it. For one, they both have similar eyes. Look at the eyes. The eyes are always important. And the facial features, there is just something strangely similar about them despite the obvious sexuality and race difference.
Perhaps Mikage at some point loses Valkana and little Nyanta and maybe Hellfire captures him and, blaming him for Nyanta's death, injects him with some weird island trauma that gives him the appearance and hormones of an Okinawan rapper. Sometime down the line he loses his memory and believes he is actually Yottsun, 17 year old rap god from Japan. And with all the Nanaki trauma magic crap, Yottsun/Mikage meets Masaki in 2016 or whatever and woos her and gets on the bus and crashes on the cliffside, where past Mikage is still back in the toy expo. And now past Mikage and future/current Mikage (now Yottsun) both exist in the same timeline as a paradox. I know it's far-fetched but I just have this really strong feeling, and they HAVE given really subtle clues along the way. What do you guys think?

It would be kind of a cool ending if they somehow repurposed Nanakimura, so to speak. Like they try to make the village their own, no longer thinking of it as a place where they've come to run away from reality, but a niche in which they'll carve out lives they can take pride in. They'll make regular trips back to society to replenish their supplies and spend time among the people when the urge strikes, but Nanakimura is their home now, all the way out there in the sticks and the mist.
