Seeing the PV do the War Of The Lions pencil shading improved my opinion of the CG significantly.

I'm hoping to see a longer PV before we call judgement prior to the show's release, because the parts that weren't the skeleton fight that was used in a much earlier PV looked okay, for the few seconds we saw.

Farnese doesn't cut her hair until 9 volumes into the conviction arc, if you include the lost children chapter. And I doubt the series ends with her cutting her hair. You are forgetting the old anime cut things WHILE adding 2 original episodes (the siege of that castle in the river(, and half of volume 1 as a prologue episode. Moreover, the cut material was replaced with some other content. Guts doesn't fight the Bakiraka or Wyald, but there is a chase scene in carriages that wasn't in the manga and lasted roughly half an episode.

This anime would presumably adapt the first three volumes and then volumes 14-21. With volume 3 and 14 probably being adapted incompletely. So you have 10 1/2 adapted volumes (half of volume 14 is Golden Age fall out) vs 9 1/2 volumes (the old anime adapted half of Volume 13: the sacrifices).

The Baron will probably be killed in one episode and a half. This fight isn't particularly good other than for introducing Guts' weapons, so I imagine they will run through it quickly like the old anime did. The skeletons will probably be used in the second half of the second episode to introduce Guts' cursed brand and are probably also going to be dispatched really quickly.
The Count will probably last three episodes or three episodes and a half, with whatever time is left in the sixth episode being used to quickly go back through Guts' memories regarding Casca and Godo. The alternative could be cutting it to just three episodes and having the flashback spread throughout the season.
The chapters of Guts mourning from Vol 14 will probably be cut. Maybe implied in the intro or ending?
Lost Children will probably last about 5 episodes, I imagine. So it will cover episodes 7 to 11.
Episode 12 will probably introduce Farnese and probably end with Guts being captive, only to escape the next episode.
Episodes 14 and 15 will introduce Casca's situation, the Tower, the Pagan Cult and Father Mosguz.
And then there will be 8 episodes to finish everything. 3 volumes. 8 episodes. I imagine the Bakiraka will almost certainly be cut again. Maybe also the storyline of the young prostitute.
