When your main character has the most punchable face in WSJ, and your other characters personalities are 2 dimensional and predictable with there being a bad case of sameface, then yes, people aren't going to like your favorite manga very much. Back Clover has things that people have seen before and done better in other places, so it doesn't scratch any niche.
