On topic, as much as I liked this motherfucker, the massive braid always confused me. It seemed to only exist so he could look crazed in the finale. His uniform is also unique, which makes little sense since it doesn't seem to denote differing rank, status or nationality. Ponytail have their own variation, short or long, straight or wavy hair, etc. What about hime cut? If the hair is wavy, it's not hime cut. If the hair is short, 90% of the time it's more recognized as bob cut. If you talk about hime cut, you don't talk about variation, other than put it into ponytail or throw a hair clip and call it a day.

Hime cut has the stupidest principle of hairstyle: hard to do the maintenance, zero effort in making variation.

If you ever say that a character with hime cut has iconic design, you're a retard.
