TTGL was one of the first anime I watched and I remember feeling uncomfortable with a 14 year old Yoko being fan serviced to shit but I was fine watching KLK. Anime has made me into a degenerate.

because fanservice is basic in the otaku culture, you can enjoy anime, 2D are always superior but besides add fanservice the experience is much better.

I think normies try to sell anime or manga to athoner normies in terms of quality and stories with good narrative and other intelectual stuff

In Japan (and nowadays i other parts of the world) normies read manga or watch anime and they criticize fanservice like a error, who are they to tell us (the real fans) who is good and who is bad, fanservice is absolutely necessary. Not just for our pleasure, too to keep out normies our frontier.
