I have the feeling that Bogue is going to do something stupid and get himself captured in Ragna or something. In the first trailer there are some spoilers. Every macross does something different, and 7 goes for a very different type of style of show. That said, the extreme amount of formulaic, nothing really happens episodes in 7 is by far its greatest flaw. I actually find myself just skipping the series when I feel like rewatching macross. Instead there's the movie, the encore oav and dynamite oav. That's fine enough for me.
