Arc-V is not close to Evangelion in any regarg other than visual similarities. The themes, value as fiction and it's representation of the human condition are completely shallow and childlike, because it's a kids show, and that's ok.
And about the movie. In a show like Yugioh, quality mean a semi-coherent plot and flashy duels. You can't afford to hand out your budget just to see Reiji Otk someone. They did a beter job then the later part of Dm and the 5d's pre wrgp in using the budget wisely. And Card game movie is prioritized over card game show, deal with it. It will always be like this.

We don't know if they'll have archetype support in Invasion of Venom. It'll be easier to figure out a deck for it once we know what Silent Paladin's effect is.

But you probably want to just run a copy or two of the high level versions and then multiples of the new support that are in the new Duelist Pack. You're also going to want to avoid relying on spell cards if you plan on having Silent Swordsman LV 7 out a lot since that negates all spell cards rather than just ignore your opponents spell effects or giving a choice to negate. Honest is a good card to run since all the Silents are LIGHT. Aside from that, general Warrior, Spellcaster, and LIGHT support as well as whatever cards you feel like having. Keep in mind that the new versions of Swordsman and Magician require you to special summon them from the hand by tributing a monster of the same type.
