I've read up to volume 5.
It hasn't gone anywhere yet. Although one of her friends did call her out on it after noticing, and she just replied "this is important to me".
It's likely she's conflicted between her (so far one-way) feelings for Kouhei, and just the sincere appreciation for the time that Tsumugi and him spend with her as she's very lonely at home.
