Urban Fantasy Horror anime with School Kids using Lovecraftian Monsters to fight other kids with Lovecraftian Monsters, Ocultists, Witches and Religious Organizations.

A man learns that whatever people believe about him will come true, developing super powers out of this he decides to spread around thousands of myths about himself of what kind of powers he has. However, he meets someone who shares the exact same power but is more mature and developed in using it, the rival even has a cult worshiping who are willing to offer sacrifices to him. Declaring him evil with an ulterior motive, our hero decides to try and make himself God of the world by getting others to worship him instead and finding a way to crush his rival's cult as he can not kill him.

In an alternate timeline, during the period where America was first being discovered by the old world, the Japanese have technology on par with Europeans at the time and in boats, Japanese explorers travel north up the coast of Eastern Asia and cross over to Alaska, where they discover the New World.

News quickly spreads, and the Japanese are quick to colonize parts of Alaska and western Canada, and quickly come into conflict with clueless Natives.

News quickly spreads though, and various other Eastern Asian powers move to get their fair share of the New World. Tensions flare and wars start to break out.

MC's a Japanese trapper and fur trader living in a colony who was drafted into the army after various border disputes with their neighbours. After many hardships, drama, and struggles, the Japanese reign victorious and keep their lands in the New World.

Meanwhile, the second season would involve them discovering that European powers have been colonizing the eastern side of the New World and now they're brought into conflict with European colonies.

Although mostly believable, there are very vague supernatural elements throughout the plot, like Native mythology briefly hinted at being real, and ghost stories of demons stalking the woods, to give it an uneasy, pseudo-horror vibe in the cases where MC finds himself all alone in the middle of the Boreal forest.

The young Prince Rumbio have always being the disgrace of his family, being a shameless pervert and a terrible royal influence. His father, Jericho II, decied to clean his son history by making him go into a journey to find the hypothetic planet of America, a planet that is supossed to live in the end of the Galaxy of Terramata.

A christmas cake (actually a cake) undergoes a sudden and unexplained mutation, granting it the ability to transform into a lusty 25 year old single woman. She uses this opportunity to buy up all the other christmas cakes she was baked together with and begin plotting a way to conquer human society and allow bakery-kind to throw off the shackles of oppression.

But first, she has to rediscover the miraculous process that allowed her to gain sapience and become a living creature.

Escaping into virtual reality is a regular thing that most people do on a regular basis now, choosing to spend hours, sometimes even days and in extreme cases weeks, hooked up to a database where they can create and live in the reality of their dreams, and create whoever they want. People can live their deepest fantasies, be it from living regularly, being rich, being with the one they love, or even live in absurd space operas, fantasy epics, or sci-fi cities.

This has caused major problems to actual society though; nobody wants to leave virtual reality anymore, and its becoming more common for people to spend longer and longer in these virtual realities. Even worse, basic human necessities and demands are all supplied by computers, completely negating the need to ever leave. Jobs are not being done and nature is slowly taking back what mankind has taken from it, while people are hooked up to computers 24/7.

The main character is a super computer/artificial intelligence designed to check-up on people connected to virtual reality and meet their needs, and discovers that an impending natural disaster of cataclysmic proportions threatens life as we know it, and nobody's around to stop it. The MC takes the form of a blue-haired little girl, and has to delve into peoples fantasies, from harem SOLs, to grandscale high fantasy worlds, to sci-fi cyberpunk skylines, and various other means, trying to find and convince people to wake up, but most people won't even bother.

Throughout the MC's adventure, she slowly starts to convince people, learn the meaning of friendship, develop human emotions, and starts having actual fun traversing various fantasies and worlds, all whilst trying to wake people up so they can potentially stop an impending doom.

Tell me your impressions, my biggest worry is the first chapter doesn't do enough to draw the reader in.

A Ronin works many part time jobs while he studies and tries to get into university. All these jobs are menial labor at various seedy locations. All these locations by accident, happen to be owned by the same crime organization. Though he is completely unaware of it beyond, "yeah maybe a few of these places are probably yakuza".

While riding his little scooter back to his crummy apartments, he accidentally crashes into a female police officer. While he was sitting in the koban(it is like a tiny police station), the police background check him. They discover he works at all these yakuza businesses. So they make him a deal. He becomes their informant and helps them get that female police officer he hit, employed at these places also, undercover.

The ronin and the cop have bumbling misadventures as they sneak around work to get evidence on the crime bosses

. A love triangle develops between Ronin, Cop, and this girl that works as a hostess at one of the bars, that Ronin had a crush on. Hostess accidentally finds out about the undercover cop and Ronin being an informant. She starts helping them because she can't stand all the sleezy men she has to pour drinks for and talk too.

Ronin's neighbor in apartment next to him is a NEET living off inheritance. He gets involved too when trying to peep on Cop taking a shower in Ronin's apartment, and sees Cop's gun and bad hanging next to the shower.

The police start arresting people and have most of the family. Then the four protagonists get caught by the remaining yakuza. Dragged away to the crime boss' mountain estate, to be tortured, questioned, and then executed. All a few days before Ronin's university entrance exams. Cop and Hostess break free and rescue Ronin and NEET. Then a final climatic chase scene in cars and on tokyo trains. As they get away from the mobsters and get Ronin to his exam.

Ever since the fall of Constantinople, the Greek people now suffer under the Ottoman Empire. Their pride and glory, stolen by the Mohammedans. Their culture, forced to conform to the will of the Imams and Sultanate. Their liberty, impeded for their faith. As centuries go by, the Greek drive to rebel against the sultanate burned out.

With increasing trade and contact with the West, a group of prominent Greek families, the Phanariotes brought back ideas and wisdom supported by the Greek Orthodox church. Soon various academies dedicated to the study of philosophy and science are opened in various Greek settlements across the empire. MC is a student in one of these academies. During a pilgrimage to Jerusalem for the Festival of Fire, the patriarch and his deacons instead tied the Imam in observance to a pole and paraded him around the streets. With this, MC gets embroiled into a rebellion organized by various clergy of the Greek Orthodox church and the Phanariotes, for independence.

Eventually, the Phanariotes managed to free Greece from Ottoman control, at the cost of those in the diaspora and in Constantinople. The Ecumenical Patriarch and various other Christians in Constantinople are killed and replaced by a Russian Patriarch.

Season 2
The success of the Phanariotes aroused fear from the various Imperial powers of Europe as it would rouse rebellion across their colonies. This eventually escalates into a war where smaller states under Russian control started revolting alongside various colonies worldwide. The Phanariotes now take the role as leading and organizing the various Russian states and colonial nationalists against the Imperial powers. The inclusion of the Republic of Venice fighting for the Greeks caused the Catholic Church to be involved in the war as well.

The world of the anime is a late 19th century steampunk with magic.

Most Western states(i.e England, Germany, France, Spain, Papal States) forbids the use of magic seeing it as superstitious and being the antithesis of science. Hence their armies tend to be technologically based with the use of guns, vehicles and steampunk mechs.

The Papal States are a bit special since they can use spellblocks against any spell casted by mages against them through specialized prayer talismans. They also have mechanical golems adorned with these talismans.

Some states such as Greece, Russia and some of the colonial rebels will use a combination of magic and tech. Some units will specialize in the use of spells to destroy the enemy.

Armenia is unique in being completely magic based with all of its soldiers being mages.

War would be akin to a more flexible version of WW1 with some magic thrown in it. Soldiers will wield swords to fight in the trenches or use bayonets. Crossbows are used to silently take out enemies in trench raids and mechs act as a combination between infantry and the tank, serving to be as mobile as them whilst being able to dish out heavy firepower.

Mages can cast spells that can deal heavy damage but spellblocks negate this effect and they can still be killed with bullets and melee attacks.

The tone is generally somber with moments of lighthearted geekiness and relaxing SoL as our protagonists pursue their goals during their working hours and balance their social and emotional wellbeing after work.

While the overarching plot is the development and research of the superweapon, there are also self-contained arcs dealing with the creation and testing of specific military gear or the need to create countermeasures for newly deployed enemy weaponry.

Lots of historical parallels with WWll and of course the superweapon itself is some sort near-light-speed planet buster or something else that kills millions and gives the final episode a bittersweet tone.

I've thought up some good ones, but I think the one I like most would be a fictional telling about how "The 36 Views of Mt. Fuji" were created. It would be a chronicling of Hokusai's journey around Japan and each episode would have some interesting thing happening resulting in the iconic "view" of that particular number, like the first episode would be him traveling by boat and the resolution of the plot would end with the view of the "Great Wave off Kanagawa" and he'd see it and paint it. I haven't decided but it might even be neat to have a distinct art style about it, sort of like the art style of "Mononoke", but I think I'd rather it have a more traditional art style.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Last night, before the high school first day opening ceremony, a boy receive an e-mail from his childhood friend who he left in another city a few years ago.

It's been a while since the last time they got in touch. He was quite excited to receive the message, only to get confused with the content of the message.

In her message, she ask the boy to help her friend who's transferred to his school this year. There are no mentioned whatsoever how he should help said friend. She only dropped some vague hints that her friend has quite some problem, and that it will be fine whatever kind of help the boy can offers. Yet, in this first day of new semester, suddenly he face the fact that there are more than one students transferred here this year.

After he informs his childhood friend about this, for some reason she still only drops vague hints, refuse to tell clearly who and how he should help. He start to thinks his childhood friend only messing with him, and starts to giving up. But as the messages and hints continues, he begins to understand she's not just messing around. Something quite serious is happening and there are some secret his childhood friend decides to keep.

The one he should "help" is his childhood friend herself. She transferred to his school under different identity due to witness protection program after history of family abuse and some other things, including criminal acts done by her family members. All the hints she drops, other than protecting her real identity, is also because she hopes he still remembers her. But what will happens if in the end he doesn't recognize her and end up "helps" the wrong person?

Whatever she need to do, even if she have to takes the live of her beloved long lost friend and her "love rivals."

As the Goblins only know strength and subjugation, they bow readily to Ratuk. And thus, begins his reign as a Goblin King and eventually, the one to unite all of the other races such as Kobolds, Harpies, Ratmen who had been pushed back by the Human empires.

The story would be equal parts combat wherein Ratuk uses strategy to exploit the arrogance of humans who think the monsters he leads are mere pushovers and empire building as well as learning about what the traditions of each race are like when they are no longer left in a primeval 'each person for themselves' setting.

The MC is a disgruntled narcissistic Japanese right-wing nutjob with delusions of grandeur and really over the top ideas thinks that Anime is ruining Japan's integrity and culture and brings it upon himself to be a hero. Inexplicably raising the funds to somehow create super weapons in his run-down apartment, he goes around purging Otaku scum and blowing up anime conventions in Japan. He becomes labeled as the world's very first super villain.

Meanwhile, some generic, innocent teenager in a high school with tons of eccentric friends and a harem somehow gains the ability to fight the MC through "the power of friendship and believing in himself", and becomes the MC's rival.

two americans get stranded in japan. the one that speaks english ends up working a menial job to earn money to fly back home. While he is involved in a rather mundane harem story arc. he fails to notice all the super natural and sci fi anime cliches that are happening around him. though his english only speaking friend is involved in crazy things happening around them.

In the near future, Japan's government fears nuclear war and builds a giant generation ship. Filled with a few million japanese citizens, it is sent to Alpha Centauri.

A few years into the flight, an unforeseen space phenomenon cuts radio communication between the ship and earth. The ship thinks the Earth has been destroyed in nuclear hellfire. Japan and the rest of earth thinks the ship was destroyed.

Hundreds of years pass. The ship is now with in a few years of entering the Alpha Centauri system. Unknown to them, that in the hundreds of passing years, peace broke out on Earth an a single unity government happened. The new government funded the construction of a new colony fleet of FTL ships. They have been on Alpha Centauri for a century. On the ship a single new culture event has been created. A holiday to celebrate the earth and mourn its passing. While on the colony there is a memorial to the supposedly lost first ship.

As the ship and colony get closer, both sides start getting strange signals. Signals that are evidence of each others' existence. Which brings us to our two protagonists. Keiichi Sachiro and Keitaro Sachiro. The Sachiros are descendants of different brothers from a identical twin pair. They are even named after them and sort of look like them. Keiichi is on the Ship and works in the astronomy lab. Where he helps navigate the ship and when the bosses aren't looking, look for signals of alien life. Keitaro is a shuttle pilot and takes people around the planet and to the spacestations.

Which brings us to the main story arc of the series. Keiichi has enough signals data now to be sure there is intelligent life at Alpha Centauri. He is brushed off as kook and told to go back to work. Then a major event happens. A radio broadcast in english is picked up by radios all over the Ship. The signal is so strong that is overrides the local broad cast of the popular morning talk show.

The english broadcast cause a huge stir on the usually tranquil ship. it was a talk show talking about music, and had no details in it that would give away the time and place or origin. So only Keiichi had the information about the direction of the signal's origin. The government of the ship to restore order back to how it has been for the past hundreds of years. Says that it must have been from Earth from a long time ago. Most of the ship's population buys this and quickly goes back to things as usual. Though a few people on the Ship know that such a clear and powerful signal could not have come from earth. The ship government it self wants to suppress any idea of their being earth survivors anywhere. As the families that run the government, got their by being the ones that created the ship's most import holiday of remembering earth. The idea of earth and humanity being alive, would shake society and threaten the families' power. So the government is quietly going around and "quashing" any ideas about the earth surviving. Which is going run the afoul of Keiichi and his assembled group of conspiracy nuts and people that understand the physics of electromagnetism.

Meanwhile at the colony. The colonial government has know about the Ship being still there and heading in. Thanks to more advanced radio telescopes and FTL scout craft. Though it has been kept as one of the darkest secrets for decades. Since it would cause a constitutional crisis. As the colony's charter and constitution stipulated that if the Ship was already there or arrived later. That ownership of the planet would revert to the Ship's population. The existing power structure on the colony doesn't want this. Though arrogance and complacency can be a bitch. Two intelligence agency officers are alone and taking Keitaro's shuttle up to the main military spacestation. To get a black ops stealth mission to check on the Ship's progress. Continued.

The female pilot sneaks up on him and asks him what he is doing, is he out of his damn mind, and says she should arrest him. He tells her to be quiet and listen. They both overhear that the mission is final scouting mission. If the Ship is still full of living people and headed to Colony. They will then send another mission to destroy it. Because if it gets any closer, they will not be able to hide its presence to anyone with telescope or radio that listens to old earth frequencies. shocked by the news Keitaro and Pilot Girl get back out into space. Pilot Girl covering for them both by saying that Keitaro was floating in space to get her to rescue him, as some misguided flirt attempt. Keitaro takes his shuttle back down to Earth goes home to do some thinking. pilot girl takes the patrol craft and jumps out to the asteroid belt for her routine mining station inspections. Which giver her days out before being expected someplace. So she jumps out even further to where the Ship was supposed to be. There the Ship was, full of millions of japanese people and cruising through a radioactive gas cloud. continued

she is just about to make contact with the Ship and go in for a landing, when the black ops ship jumps in. She freaks and jumps back to her asteroid belt patrol route. Her presence and jumps masked by radiation from the cloud. after the couple days of her doing her inspections and going "oh shit oh shit oh shit". She meets up with Keitaro for a "date" that he has always wanted. while on this supposed date she tells keitaro that the ship is still there and coming in. Which means it is only a matter of time before those millions of people are all killed.

So goes the story, with some side arcs, as the Sachiro cousins and their company try to gather evidence of each others' existence, make contact with each other, avoid the government goons chasing them, prevent the ship's destruction and get it safely to Alpha Centauri.

The ship's mostly american crew on the other hand, is eccentric and come off as lazy and uncaring to Hibiki. Hibiki's internship goes on for 26 episodes of swimming, diving, and exploring south pacific islands. Where she learns more about her self and life, than geology.

MC is a former moralfag who takes on a playful cynical disposition to deal with the consequence of his actions, rarely lies and is very upfront about what he's selling. In reality very easily tempted and spiteful, not nearly as sincere as she seems. has light-based powers which she can use at the cost of being set aflame due to her heretical nature. Not that she can actually die.

Neither has any particular goal or problem with their predicament, though they are always poking around for ways to undo their contracts or at least gain extra leverage in their positions.
