These last few chapters have really shown how much Orihime has grown since Mexico. For the longest time Orihime was unable to sense how Ichigo was feeling. She was never able to stop the rain, she was always one step behind Ichigo's feelings.
However, this has changed in this fight. All Orihime needed was one look from Ichigo to understand what he was thinking. Not only that, but they were able to fight as a team this chapter. I'm pleasantly surprised at the direction Kubo is taking Orihime in.

It's also a good sign that Ichigo is relying on Orihime. He relied not on his own strength, but on the strength of his teammate. It's also interesting to note that her faeries have been coming from her hair and not her neck. It'll be interesting to see if that hairpin is a design, or it actually has a purpose.

There's a lot of characters, and they have up to 3 special attacks,

I guess action? Think Dynasty warriors where you can button mash attacks, strong attacks that have cool down, and an ultimate. Each character has a unique trait (like extra attack/cooldown/healing) and you can link them to other characters.

The addicting part is collecting 5 star characters. You use spirit orbs, which is a limited currency, and you only have like a 4% chance of getting one unless it happens to be double for a special event.

It's only fun if you love the Bleach franchise.

Alright, that sounds like the interactive equivalent of the game I linked. Thing I linked is the same concept - buy 4-5 star cards with limited currency(although it's pay to win, but I'm #12 on the server of 14,000 people without having ever paid a cent), with other stuff like PvP challenges, and periodic special event type stuff. Only difference is that Brave Souls is actually interactive whereas mine is turn based and automated for the most part.
I'll probably go and get it. I got into the Brave Souls beta and just never followed up on it because I can't into moon runes. At least it's out in English now. Also I like Bleach more than Naruto, but could never find any good games because developers are fags.

I fear that the final fight is going to go in a similar, shit-paced way as the Aizen fight. First the White Pride-Dude's father and Ichigo's father are gonna do something and take Ichigo into another "out-of-time"-place to train him. Kubo literally throws every one that hasn't done something yet in against God-Lenny, and then Ichigo comes back and once again all sorts of shit that sounds cool and "techically" looks cool happens, yet it's end's up being the most boring and short fight in the series.

But i hope i'm wrong. Kubo should have enough sense to realize that the actual last fight in the series has got to be the best one yet, the shit that he did with the Ichigo vs Aizen fight ain't gonna cut it.

However honestly speaking, for the DVD version I want that title to be removed.
I already asked them to do so. This is because I feel I didn't participate enough in the production of this movie to warrant such a title.I already had this feelings since the premier of the theatre version, however when I met with the producer staff to persuade them, the movie was already in the editing process so it couldn't be removed.

I had a meeting with the scriptwriter - I think it was in the year preceding the movie premiere, in early summer.The meeting was incandescent, and we discussed ideas until nearly dawn. The scriptwriter took careful notes of the ideas that I had contributed jointly during the meeting. The response was that we were able to come up with some very interesting stuff. I had the feeling that before winter at the latest the scenario would be completed - but in the end, the scenario was sent to me only in the spring of the year of the movie premiere. Furthermore, the scenario didn't contain any of the ideas of the meeting... apparently, the notes taken at that time were not transmitted to the director and to the other members of the staff.

Later on, we had some trouble with the production department agreeing to some changes decided by the scriptwriter, and the scriptwriter worked hard with the changes that were made - but unfortunately, there was no more time. The fact that characters that first made their entry in the original work like Ichigo, Kokutou and Shuuren had a very Bleach-like feeling is thanks to all of the seiyuu that gave them their voices, and to all of the staff that drew them.

Which means literally nothing. His powers are probably the most bare-bones and neutral of any Bleach character. He can't manipulate elements, he can't manipulate concepts, most of his victories were achieved by simply outskilling his opponents. Sure he has a ridiculous power ceiling but that's hardly the same as 'lol I has every power'.

I don't know of any Bleach character that's a combination of just about every power-type in the whole story.

Yeah because all Zanpakuto are based off Hollow vessels that reflect the power of the inner soul over time. Ichigo is different in the sense that he had a Hollow long before he ever developed his Shinigami abilities. Hichigo is a separate entity and not just an extension of his power, that's why it's so much more potent than your average hollowfied Shinigami. Just because Hichigo became the avatar of his Shinigami powers doesn't mean he is the ENTIRETY of Ichigo's shinigami abilities.

Ichigo is like a multi-class that only has access to a few barebones abilities and otherwise is just a pure tank. He can't use Kido, he has no special hollow abilities, he has no Scrift. It's the equivalent of Naruto having a Sharingan, a Rinnegan, AND the Nine-Tailed Fox.

It's not that he has a special ability, it's that he's a mishmash of all the abilities. It just makes him look like a really huge special snowflake. Certain people having certain powers is nice because it means their skillsets come in handy in certain situations. While it's true that Ichigo doesn't have EVERY power it just kinda becomes less special when he has a little of everything.

If you want to talk Special Snowflake Syndrome, I could list ad nauseum the qualities unique to Naruto, not limited to having two special bloodlines, is a Jinchuruki, access to Sage Chakra, and basically being the reincarnation of a Ninja God. And don't even get me started on Boruto...

A more accurate example would be three kekkei genkai, so the Sharingan, the Byakugan, and the bone guy's powers.

Powers unique to a group of people should STAY unique to that group of people unless the circumstances are very special and it's an isolated case.
