I absolute detest when they just walk away, fuck that. The rest of the series resolution has to be fantastic for me to overlook it

He did, by far too. However he was still only barely able to disarm an 8-12 year old little girl Claymore who hadn't even been fully trained yet.

He did kill normal yoma though if I recall correctly, which is more than any human has ever done. He's still far below any Claymore though, let alone the ones with out of control powerlevel creep towards the later parts of the manga.

That still doesn't explain the bullshit reasoning behind it. Also if they are they apex more then one of them should be able to existed at full power without destroying the earth. Fuck even one if he's not careful would kill the planet.

I haven't seen this trope in a while but its the one where the main character gets tormented by another character. You get a whole bunch of episodes about how this antagonist is making the mains life a living hell... only later when you get into the grit of it you learn that antagonist actually used to care about the main but they were/felt betrayed in some way
