I am surprised that so many people like him to such an extreme extent though. He's pretty much just an older and more autistic version of the MC with Snape's backstory slapped on. Typically /a/ hates "I lie all the time for no particular reason" types of characters too, yet they make an exception for this character for no particular reason.
