It makes me think about a time where studios like kyoani and gainax were relevant. It makes me think about the gar vs moe wars that we had back then. It fills me with resentment nostalgia and reminds me that the cancerous animefans then were far worse than the infiltrating normalfags these days.

LS is at its best when it makes use of the fact that it's an animated program, i.e. the flights of fancy and tsukkomi asides. Otherwise it's a very enjoyable SoL.

I watched Lucky Star a decade ago. I liked it.
Then I watched other anime that I liked, and watched other cartoons that I also liked. I dropped some anime and cartoons that I didn't like.

It hasn't aged well at all.
K-On however is an anime that will be remembered 20 years from now. A timeless classic.

I don't really say why everyone's saying it aged poorly. Aside from the first 4 episodes being bad I'd say it holds up extremely well, the only "dated" aspect of the show is the references it makes,l but personally I find that it ads a nostalgic charm to the show.

I liked Lucky Star a lot, it was one of the first SoL shows that I watched.
