Actually, Ikoma was wrong. It isn't a curse but it's not a virus either. What is it then ? Nanomachines. Everything makes sense if you factor in nanomachines. How do heart cages form ? It's just nanomachines sticking together to form a dense outer layer of iron which also explains the kabane heart cage katana. It's not the 1000 folds but the nanomachines. The heart cage thinks that they are friendly and lets the blade through the cage. That's why Kurusu didn't have to put much effort into his stab. I've got this shit all figured out.

Explain the plot.

I really liked this episode, the action was pretty clever and they made it so every character did a little something to ensure that they survived in the end. I think this show really shines when they're fighting on the moving train.

I've actually sampled every track on the OST and for a first for Sawano I don't think I like even a single track. What's worse I have a feeling this isn't even rock bottom for him yet. It's just really really fucking bad music to set any sort of anime too. I wish he'd just stick to the concept albums he's clearly trying to do and they'd stop trying to fit anime to this stuff to market it as it doesn't work well.

That's the last time I remember him being kind of okay. When he started pushing the vocal tracks and got popular with MAL hype kid types is when went from one of the more interesting new composers to complete shit incredibly fast.

Pretty much from Kill la Kill on he's been absolutely fucking horrible IMO. It was interesting to see the reaction Xenoblade fans had to X's OST with it not being primarily the anime fanbase reacting to it which resulted in a huge split down the middle on it's quality where people either love it or hate it. I get that he's trendy and has a lot of heavy marketing and pushing from Sony right now but I just can't understand how anybody could like his recent soundtracks as much as they claim too and still be so excited for the latest iteration of Sawano rap drop vocals and some female singer shrieking as she tries to match the back beat and make it all sound musical. I guess you literally just have to be loud in and your face to be considered a top composer now.
