Actually it's mostly because of how unclimatic this arc was in comparision to rest of the assasination squad ones, the fact that Melone is skeevy as fuck is just an additional factor. It does get the point that these are horrible mobsters across well, but I just couldn't bring myself to like the stand, character and fight at all, unlike most of part V.

How can they destroy Jojo if most of them doesn't read or even watch it and just apply part I-III memes to whatever shit they fap to? It's dumb but doesn't have much of an impact luckily.

Basically the Ireneverse is the same universe as the original except sped up to the end of time by Pucci so it would reach a singularity and then start over again. This new universe played out exactly the same except because everyine had experienced the old universe completely thanks to Made in Heaven, they knew their fates. Pucci needed to slow down time back to normal speed and reach the same point in this iteration of the universe that he did in the last, ie catch up to the exact moment he activated MiH for the effect to become a complete loop and thus permanent. However he slowed down time back to normal at a bad moment, since Emporio trapped him with pure oxygen. Pucci was now unable to move and even if he sped up time again, it would only kill him quicker. Emporio killed him and the loop was left incomplete.

What happened after this is up for debate since we get a few panels of the universe receding and Emporio being dumped on the side of the road in a new universe. The easiest way to visualise it is that without Pucci completing the loop the universe was in a state of paradox and tried to make everything go back to how it was since Pucci failed to pull through, except because the people MiH kill are removed from the universe the people Emporio meets are replacements. In this universe Pucci doesn't exist and none of them ended up in jail but because they met in jail in the last universe, they are still fated to meet outside of it in this one. Jolyne now being Irene is meant to signify the Joestar curse being broken, but memories and experiences make the person (this was F.F's whole schtick) so these people may technically be the same but they aren't as well.

SBRverse is different since the only change in MiH is that Pucci never existed but everything else unrelated to him carried out exactly the same. Araki wanted to keep writing JoJo but he didn't want to write a future story + the editors wanted it to end. So he made a reboot, aka SBR. everyone wins
