Bones is where talents go to die.

Madhouse tends to turn out mediocre adaptations all the time. Never really one way or another.
At least Bones tries to churn out am original every now and then, even if they are usually shit.

Not quite.

The OPM anime uses Murata's manga designs instead of ONE's. Mob Psycho uses the original ONE designs with really slight improvements, so it can translate better into animation.

Overall for total catalogs? Madhouse. Probably unfair because Madhouse was started as a director's studio dedicated to high budget projects that probably didn't fit in anywhere else, like Neo-Tokyo.

One Punch Man was literally a bones show. It had close to 0% madhouse staff.

It was Bones, Sunrise (which is still bones) and Production IG animators.

Madhouse has made many great series over the years. They excel in animation and artstyle.

Bones gave us original FMA and then... their art style went to shit and bad shows started piling up.

Bones is a bad studio I dread. It's where good ideas go to die. Madhouse will at least make it competent if not great

Sure, Bones has Revolution atm. It's kind of cool and flashy, but just a gimmick, monotony breaking spice. It'll be forgotten as a quirky experiment in two years.
