So i believe it was in the last chapter, Ayaka was shocked at the idea that Negi had a grandchild. But isn't it strange that her shock didnt really last for very long, not to mention Chachamaru wasn't too sceptical on the notion that Negi had a grandchild.
If Negi truly didn't pick a girl, I think Ayaka and Chachamaru would be really suspicious for any claims of Negi having grandchildren.

I don't mind UQ as a whole but the girls in Negima were so much better.

Man I really don't like what UQ Holder has turned into since the end of the Dana training arc.

Akamatsu's fanservice and antics just aren't entertaining anymore after a decade of following his work.

I really wish it had just stayed a semi-serious shounen/Drama series.

It's not that the weekly format is an issue, since I read Negima and UQH that way. It's that the writing itself is poor and just feels like Akamatsu has been going through the motions for the past few months and is just rehashing the same kind of jokes he's been using since Love Hina, or even A.I I Love You.
