The reason why they they had Kirishima reach out is that if Bakugou hesitated even one second, the plan wouldn't have worked.

Bakugou grasped Kirishima's hand because he's the closest he has to a friend and someone he can see as an equal. They've worked together a couple of times (willingly from both sides even) and Bakugou knows from that (and from fighting him) that he can trust Kirishima on the battle field. Kirishima is pretty much the only one that can hold a normal conversation with Bakugou. Kirishima thinks of Bakugou as his bro and Bakugou probably recriprocates that to some extent.

Origin chapters are more convictions of becoming a hero. The flashbacks in that chapter solidifies to the reader why he's a hero. It's not the teamwork aspect, it's the winning no matter what aspect.

Let's look at this way. Bakugou can use explosions to propel himself out of harm's way. But it also means he's going to be caught in the air where his options and mobility are limited. There are only so many buildings left behind for him to possible escape to. He's already being attacked by 6 people, meaning he has to find an opening to pulse upwards and then has to fend off the 6 while in the air/continue an ascension. Deku, Iida, and Kirishima showing up provided several factors:

1. An opening that distracts them enough for him to get up in the first place.
2. Allies/extra bodies to help him beat back any pursuers/ranged attacks.
3. Grabbing on to an already moving group means he doesn't have to focus all of his attention on propelling himself away.

The idea as to why he didn't just propel himself away was that he was too busy dodging and keeping his distance with small explosions to make then back off, and most likely was trying to plan out what to do but the fighting doesn't help.

There's also the fact that he needs a big explosions to propel himself a good distance and since there's nothing around, they may catch on and immediately try to grab him when he jumps.

The guys coming up from above not only distracted then from Bakugou but also provided a moving object for him to grab on to so he could focus all power upwards and then grab and keep moving away. If he did that alone maybe he wouldn't have enough sweat for another explosion big enough to propel himself sideways and even then it may not be enough to escape the ruined landscape.

How do you think things are going down next chapter? They are holding each other off, and while both may not be in their prime, i feel like All mighty is the one with the shorter hand of the stick in this case, since he has been losing power ever since he moved the torch towards Deku, while AFO seems to be nurturing and helping shigaraki grow up before possible giving his power to him.

In return, I'll explain why it was bad.
For starter, the kids had no reason to be there. Yes, I get it, they feel bad about failing to rescue him and that's normal, but they're not in a situation where every second count anymore and it's been a while since Kacchan was captured. No doubt they also knew the pros were going to launch a counter-attack, with All Might getting Momo's tracker the day before (and Deku should know All Might enough anyway). As someone (I think it was Todoroki?) said, they were acting purely on ego, yet aknowledging it doesn't make the issue disappear and it just raises the question about why they persist. If they had a masterful plan, I could've somewhat agreed but it basically boiled down to "Let's hope that we're not caught". None of them had a stealthy quirk, even Momo's quirk is more useful to create a diversion than to actually sneak four teenagers in a place likely full of villains.

I also think some actions are really out of character. Momo's arc was about trusting her plans more and gaining some of the self-confidence she lost. I don't really see how it was applied here as she's just here to agree with what Deku says. I also think Iida's reasoning if faulty, if the only reason you're going with your friends on a mission you think incredibly stupid is to pull them out of trouble, perhaps it'll be best to make them not go? Like you can call a teacher or something?

I also had troubles with most of the others Class A students disagreeing with Kirishima's idea, yet doing nothing to stop him. Really make them seem like background characters and it's a bit of a waste.

The pros heroes were also underdeveloped. I'm not saying the chain of event didn't make sense, but the Noumus were skipped too fast and they feel more and more like jobbers compared to the almost All Might-equal Noumu in the first villain arc.

I hear people compare the two a lot, which is pretty interesting to me because I am an enormous Danganronpa fanboy. I recently managed to play SDR2 last month after being spoiler free for four years, and with the anime announcements and shit have restarted a craving and hype I haven't felt in a long time. So the fact people say Kumagawa is like Nagito really piques my interest. Maybe I'll retry Medaka after all.

I think the whole thing was an excuse to get out of the hospital. No one is in an appropriate condition to fight, so they operate under the mutual delusion that they just won't get into a fight.

That's the actual reason Momo and Iida came along; to force the group to bow out before they actually make contact.

The only reason Deku's little extraction was permitted was because it's still in line with their gameplan; zero enemy contact, immediate retreat.

This is important as well from a narrative standpoint because Deku needs to be here to see All MIght, if he succeeds, fails, lives or dies.

Also, like I posted above, if our mangaka is an ABSOLUTE MADMAN, he'd have the mole make his move now; because this is the best opportunity for it. The hero's said it themselves "When on offense, you neglect your defense."

I don't think they're going to crush All Might; They're going to hit the school again. It doesn't even matter if they do any damage; it's a PR genocide: The academy just said they're boosting security and they get hit literally on the same day.

Kids are going to get pulled, the press are going to get out the thumbscrews, Some of the students never make it home.

Out of all the characters, I disliked Deku the most. Not only for agreeing with a stupid plan, but for the first two acts of the arc, him and his group basically did nothing. I especially hated the way the author made him almost jump in front of AfO to try to rescue Kacchan. Sure, he wants to save him and rushing to danger to save his friend is something he did back in chapter 1, but after all this time it's a bit sad to see he didn't evolve, and really, it probably wouldn't have been pretty for him or his companions if Iida didn't restrain him. I liked the part where he put everyone's quirk together but I can't help to think it's starting to get stale, and when he's paired up with Momo, Todoroki and IIda, I'd kinda expect them to have a few interesting thing to suggest too. But I guess urgency of the situation and all that.

I'm not entirely sure All Might will die, but I'll be very disappointed if he dies like this because he hasn't done anything that was really impressive for a while now. Sure he's holding AfO back, but that guy's not even trying and it's not really the focus of the action so you can't really feel invested in it.

To summarize, I'd say the author focused on the wrong thing and should've put more thoughts in the reasons behind the character's actions.

Bakugou isn't mad at Kirishima rescuing him because Kirishima is his lackey. He would reject the others because he sees them as competition.

Was it a dumb motive? Yes it was, but do remember that they are teens and they're not exactly known to make sound decisions. Deku may be a good strategist but he's still one too.

Momo is out of the picture for now because there hasn't been any use for her it, and they were all stricken with fear after AFO showed up, and Deku was the one who came up with a plan first. Also she's not 100% cured of her self doubt, she did get better but it's not that easy to let go, besides she knows Deku for being good a improvising in tough situations, and i'm sure she'll get some screentime along with icyfire next chapter, possibly a distraction or way to get out of there.

As for Lida's decision to go, he probably didn't want to rat then out or felt it was not going to stop then. A teacher would possibly stop then, but they could still try to be idiots and try to find a way to sneak out on their own, since i doubt they'd keep then locked, at most, they'd receive a pretty sound warning against it, with possible repercussions but they could still sneak out of their houses. So he's there to make sure they don't do anything stupid.

The rest probably followed the same idea.

As for the heroes, there's not really much time to develop everyone, and they ARE strong, the thing is the first Noumu was specially made to combat All mighty, and he had help from the other villains and All mighty was already running out of time, but when he got a proper chance he blew the Noumu away rather easily.

Regarding the out of character actions, you don't change someone in one end of term exam and half a summer boot camp. I hope it's going to play slightly with this idea that you don't always progress forward and that sometimes you regress.
It was all within a short timespan, they may be reported by a student the next morning.
