So this is like 7's triangle that was barely there? To be honest for a series like this one I think I prefer it this way. The characters right now have more important things to worry about than their love lives. Frontier was another story since the main trio led normal lives for the most part and it was supposed to be "Macross in high school".

Kind of lame reasoning. Most of the 0048 dance scenes focused on the character drama. Here, it would probably be a romance focus. Then have the scene not set in the practice room, put it on the beach or something, and there you go, completely different from AKB.

Though to be honest I was expecting a "Hayate teaches Mirage how to dance" episode/scene more than for Freyja. But either of them would have been great.

Well remember that VFs are powered by a thermonuclear engine, and thus have a massive amount of energy and effectively infinite fuel. The propellant isn't what's powering the engine, it's what's being expelled. In atmosphere that propellant is air, but there isn't any air in space to scoop up. The stress on the impact is a thing, but the VFs are already pulling 40 g turns so idk. Though yes this isn't very gentle at all.

Remember the limiting factor is propellant, not fuel. Propellant you expel to use conservation of momentum to change yours. The problem is that momentum is m*v, while the KE needed to be added to the propellant to increase it's velocity is m*v^2. At a certain point you can't really increase the momentum change without just using more propellant.

Yeah, although they feel a bit too much like the gundam games sometimes. Just go with Triangle Frontier since that has the most content. You're supposed to go through academy mode at least once to create your own character to use in campaign, and it's a sort of self-insert into the frontier universe with a bunch of other oc characters. A sort of life management game. Sadly it isnt translated so you'll just be skipping through the stuff if you don't know japanese, but there are guides for which stuff to rank up, what skills do, which the correct date locations are for all the characters etc.

Or you can just use one of the OCs you'll choose at the beginning. You can't increase their stats or change their skills, though.

The ps3 game is also seems pretty solid with its own story and a more open-world rpg setting, but I haven't played it cause I don't have a ps3. The more open maps seem like a lot better choice for valkyrie gameplay than the psp's small screen and maps though
