Why Ricard? Sure the Lionhart title is cool but the guy did nothing much but losing two major campaign he was in.
He lost the crusade against Saladin despite Saladin give them mercy on several occasion, then somehow still manage to get captured on his way home which ended with the need to pay expensive ransom.
After he back home he started another war campaign against France, which again he lost but also died in.

That is not mentioning the England nearly broke to pay his war campaign, the massive jew hunt during his ruling, and several other shit happened during his absence as he goes to war campaign.

said, not entirely Herc as he'd be in Archer, he's missing some of his Archer skills and has lost God Hand. But yes, to answer your question, Herc in Archer looks to be a dead even challenge with Gil so far, and even taunted him to pull out Ea or he'd be fucked.

If you added some of his other skills back in, since they're currently a bit off, then he'd have both EotM True and False, basically no attack would work on him once he's seen it, he'd have God Hand... he'd be almost completely unstoppable.

The top Servants are functionally Gilgamesh, Herakles (Archer), Enkidu, Arjuna, Karna. Next tier down you've got the ones like Achilles, Seiba, Siegfried and so on.

Summoning a hero creates a copy from the Throne, reproducing things like their NPs, abilities (sort of, it's incomplete with the Fuyuki system depending on the Master, since Rin with Seiba can push her to almost as powerful as she was while alive), skills and so on.

Enkidu is summoned as a Servant, put into a Servant container, as one such copy from the Throne. However, Gilgamesh is also summoned as a Servant, as another copy from the Throne, and as such he is produced with his NPs, including Enkidu in chain form. It's not Enkidu as a Servant that Gil has in GoB, it's Enkidu the chain. Likewise, Enkidu the Servant is not the Enkidu in GoB.

Except when they both are, but in this case, there shouldn't be any overlap.

So which one is stronger Berserker or Archer Heracles?

Base on what I've read in this thread Archer Heracles is more of a challenge to Gil than his berserker counterpart.

First, you don't count NP rank. That shit doesn't count or at least not really. See Saber again. Under Shirou it's at C and with Rin it's at A++ and this is in spite of the fact that Saber has access to the same NPs.

Secondly, the default Berserker container has worse stats than the Archer container. (assuming the info in the Type Moon wiki is correct and in at least this particular circumstance, I think they can be relied upon)

Archer has good skill, enough to go toe-to-toe with the average Servant, but he can't hold a candle to any actual high tier fighter like Cu or Arturia. Arturia damn near killed him in literally two seconds. He was able to put up only a defensive fight against Cu thanks to being able to track him with his eyes and knowing his fighting style enough from fighting him the first time to invent false openings that still got him slightly hurt each time. Eye of the Mind is his primary strength in close combat, and it does have its limits.

Crane Wing Three Realm isn't an achievement of skill, as much as it is an achievement of Tracing and using Kanshou and Byakuya's natural ability of drawing each other nearer to the fullest extent. It's a technique suitable of the blacksmith hero, that only he could do. It's also only useful when the opponent has never seen it before, because if they know the gimmick, it becomes easy to avoid.

Heracles was definitely impressed with Archer's swordsmanship, and regretted not being able to face him as a sane man, but that does not mean that Archer could have put up nearly as good of a fight against him if he had been sane and had all his skill.

Anon, Crane Wing isn't a swordsmanship technique. It's a blacksmith technique. He creates two sets of Kanshou and Bakuya which circle around the opponent and brings out a third set to strike with. It's an omnidirectional attack, so it's unavoidable, but it has nothing to do with Archer's skill as a swordsman and everything to do with the innate qualities of the swords he's using.

All he needed to do was throw the swords and they'd do what they needed to do on their own.

She wanted to see the extent of his skill, and the extent of his skill is Tracing more swords and throwing them around. It's a cool move, and it's effective as a sneak attack, but it's not indicative of Archer's actual skill as a swordsman nor is it proof that he could beat Arturia in a close combat battle since he already lost to her twice.

Saber Alter is completely ruthless. At no point is it ever stated she was holding back against Shirou. The closest thing she ever does to an act of mercy is offer to kill Shirou rather than bring him back to Sakura in the forest, and that's only because Sakura gave her ambiguous orders. In SLH she's under orders to kill anyone who tries to get past her but Rin, and that's what she does. You have no evidence otherwise.

If we're using battle records as an example, consider that Archer killed Heracles six times in close combat where Saber failed to kill him even once until the Caliburn asspull.

Had a shit Master, so she couldn't replenish mana. Was wounded by Gae Bolg, so she was fighting with that wound the whole time. The wound never properly healed until after Lancer finally kicked the bucket. When she fought Berserker in the forest, she'd just barely recovered but didn't even have enough mana to throw out a real Excaliblast.

If you actually fucking read the VN the very first move of their fight is Saber trying three times to decapitate him outright and Shirou barely parrying all three swings, with the narrative explicitly noting they're both surprised.
Saber Alter is not fucking around with him at any point. She does not stop trying to kill him until he cuts her in half and she is physically unable to carry out Sakura's orders anymore.
