What is the best shonen series, and why is it Toriko?

If you said this maybe two years ago you might have a case. But not with how Toriko is now.

Cooking festival was literally better than most of the OP arcs and the only one I'd day that competes with it is Sabaody.

I'd probably still give it to cooking festival since the art and gore was a lot more enjoyable.

For a series that was expected to sell dragon ball and one piece level, it's not (toriko only sold those numbers in it's first and a half year after the anime but tanked afterwards.).
