Akihiko didn't take Aigis' key because he knew he might kill her, and he simply wanted to beat Yukari so the whole battle royale shit stopped
Junpei simply wanted everyone to calm down, he wasn't gonna kill Aigis.
But Yukari's whole motivation was to get that key, and by pussying out she's dooming everyone in the dorm, including her.
