Mekakucity had a few problems(the horrible CGI) that Shaft are to blame, but most of the blame falls on Jin who fucked up the screenplay and the anime turned into an awful mess. All the other adaptations they did after 2011. were good adaptations of awful source material, you just can't polish a turd so much that it magically becomes good. Actually one of the reasons I didn't like Bake is for the complete disregard of the show don't tell rule in visual storytelling.

Can't really agree with that. After finishing volume 5 in english I started reading from volume 6 in moon since my studies were starting to give fruit. After reading Vol. 6 I went back to check his translation of the prologue and wasn't really impressed by his choices. The translation was not really incorrect, but still felt off to me. It's Nisio we're talking about so maybe it can't be helped. On the other hand I think the guy translating Neko Shiro did a really good job at putting up with Nisio.

Easily. Monogatari can finish everything up in 1 cour. Kizu is basically done just release it. With that they are only working on Fate, 3 Gatsu, and Zaregoto.

3 Gatsu is on NHK so we can expect 2 cours. Probably wont need a crazy budget since its SoL. Even koufuku looked amazing.

Fate has that type moon budget so there is no worries there. SL showed great animation improvement compared to their other series.

Zaregoto can come out whenever in 2017 and not be hindered. Look at Shaft 2013 their biggest projects were set that year.

Not really. Anyone who thinks that is probably over analyzing. Many people I've talked to love Second Season and don't really see the arc flaws. I know they are there but my bias chooses to ignore them. The flaws weren't even major enough to even mention them. At the end of the day everyone has an opinion but there is a reason why second season is known as the best season.
