These are really common visuals. Someone standing on a high place, close up of the mouth, 2 people facing each other, the water drop, etc.

It's not a reference or a homage if it's just a common shot that most shows have. You can screencap anything and something else will have a similar thing. It's not really a big deal and no reason to overanalyze.

it's a thin line, but I think an homage has some element of self-awareness and respect towards the source material, whereas a ripoff usually tries to play it off as original and pretend they aren't just copying something else
