You don't have to think about what other people think regarding what anime you like before discussing them.

Also, it's been discussed a bit before and after the anime aired (though it was mostly Merryfags vs Yumefags fighting).

The biggest flaw the series has is the author hamfisting his waifu on us and always making characters in his story mention or think about how Merry is ultra beautiful and perfect, much like Mahouka's author regarding Miyuki.

i'm pretty sure reddit fans and blah blah fans hate the illya spin off due to "ruining mah ultimate series" and thats why I find it to be the only tolerable thing that came out of the fate titles.

Rather, the insert songs take too much time, often destroying the rhythm of a scene because the song hadn't ended yet (like the graveyard scene and other instances where nothing is happening on-screen except the swaying of hair and clothes until the music ends).

They obviously had an agenda (using the series to launch their musical artist into the spotlight) but they were foolish to expect such a blatant attempt to work, which showed in the band's CD sales.
