The plot is better told in the form of card arts and isn't all that deep. What would be better is a 2-3 episode OVA that showed some highlights (like the final battles) or some side stories (like when Exciton met the two Magicians). If an OVA isn't your thing I could see it being a 12-episode Shorts series.

Who thinks Edo's new hero will be able to be fusion summoned due to it's material being two hero monsters rather than 2 Destiny heroes?
