Looking over synchro again, I would hardly call it dumb. It was VERY slow paced, but what was there was actually pretty good once it got doing; Roger's wild ride was honestly on par if not better than most of Standard once he really got shit going post-king's gambit and the introspection + learning about synchro dimension was pretty neat too.

She got Yuzu to Yusho. That's more than Jack and Crow did in all of Synchro. It doesn't matter if she jobs later. She's already more plot relevant than even most of the Arc-V cast. Edo is also plot relevant with him being the highest member of Academia. The GX legacy characters actually have thought behind them and the staff is actually trying.

At worst, you could say the pacing was bad and you were disinterested with where things were going. But, there isn't anything inherently bad about the story arc itself.

He was conflicted. There were signs of this shit early in standard arc when he was about to teach yuzu fusion summoning. The ONLY time he was a crazy faggot was when he was fighting shun. Throughout the Yuya duel he was torn between his friendship with yuya and his mission, as evidenced by his reaction to Yuya confirming that duels are intended to be fun.

Hell, in Synchro he was intending to take Selena back as soon as he made sure of Yuzu's safety and it was only Yuya saving him and Yuzu's following request for him to stop serving academia for the sake of the people he'd hurt and his corresponding flashback to the people he met in standard that made him ultimately turn his back on academia.

Literally the only thing missing was an introspection ep for him to tie it all together.

Shun's ETERNAL AVENGE was the ARC-V version of Atem's going full BERSERKER SOUL against Haga.

Yet at least Shun wrecked a significant character with ETERNAL AVENGE whereas BERSERKER SOUL was just Yugi beating Haga (fodder) in one of DM's filler arcs.

Dennis is infinitely more important than Haga and objectively a way better duelist, and people like Dennis more than they liked Haga. For Yugi to the equvilant of ETERNAL AVENGE would be if he did used BERSERKER SOUL to defeat Kaiba/Marik/Bakura/Pegasus/Mai to the same extent he did Haga.

Are they really going to print all of Enjoy's cards? there's freaking 21 of them 11 main deck monsters, 2 more synchro monsters, 1 trap and 6 spells. There are 13 free slots left after Galaxy stealth so if they don't print the spells and traps, there's enough for all the monsters, including synchros. Through I'm honestly expecting Asuka's Ritual, Edo's fusion and Yuto's Rebellion Dragon upgrade to be in this pack.
