So the grey-outlined Page 3 ended with Older Kawaki and Older Boruto clashing, like I translated yesterday. Older Kawaki had said:

It's the new stuff, then future Bort reminisces about his younger self and his relationship with his now presumably deceased father, which gives us a new introduction to events which segue into the movie. It's actually a pretty smooth transition. I can definitely see how having a real novelist helps. Flashbacks don't feel as jarring as when Kishi does them.

Original chapter starts out in the future, but then it flashes back to the beginning as he says "This is my story" and talks about how it all got to this point, and at the end it wraps it all back together in some important way.
