They spent all that time setting up Frenda and Saten as friends and really adds to the wasted potential to not have you see it contained in Railgun. I don't know they had to show Battle Royal again but showing what happened in the city during the events would have been worthwhile. All the dreamranker stuff has made you care more about Item and lots of gaps exist in the LN to fill in but now it has made me care more about characters which aren't being focused on.
