Jesus dude just get some onions, canned chopped tomatoes, mince, and chilli powder and you can make a decent enough chilli. If you want to get fancy grab some cumin and throw some of that in. Little lemon juice can tang it up.

Fry the mince and the onions, drain off the water, mix in chopped tomatoes and the spices, simmer to reduce water content for like 20 minutes, and serve with rice.

Not going to be a 'legitimate texan style' but it'll taste great.
