Even the commentators aren't sure about what bullshit just happened. The red wire distraction was a really good move, I don't think I would have thought of that even though it's a pretty obvious idea. It brings to mind what strategies Osamu came up with when he fought Kazama. He takes into account everything his triggers can do and formulates plans based on that. He's so cool!

Well, I don't imagine Kakizaki will survive long. According to BBF, he's not rolling with anything really that could give him the edge over Yuuma. He's got kogetsu with senkuu, asteroid, and meteora. Maybe he'll toss out some meteors to throw Yuuma off. In melee, I don't see him winning at all.

It's funny how Katori is actually the one shaving off her group's limbs. A couple more lead bullets, and Tamakoma2 won't have to do anything!

Mikumo always had the right mindset (except against top B-rank battle), to weaken the enemies, like when fighting nasu, but in that case, he still made mistake of looking for the kill, and paid for it. Looks like this time he has grown.

This battle has been so awesome. Ugh, double issue.

I don't need to "think" it works because it happened in real life here successfully. And separate people are separate people. The police cannot automatically blame someone for being an accomplice without proof or else you get racism charges.

As for your comment about observation, the library system used to have security cameras but got rid of them. The Black Lives Matter activists agitated hard at the board meetings saying cameras were racist. So the library got rid of cameras. NO surveillance cameras anywhere and even the staff are not allowed to take camera pictures. I actually asked a librarian and was told the library staff cannot take camera pictures but library patrons are allowed but warned me that I can be sued for racism if I only took pictures of certain groups of people OR if I was obvious about taking pictures because BLM considers that to be racial harassment. Lawsuits cost too much for the library to deal with so they caved in.

It's not so much that an officer's career is harmed by racism charges on his CV (certainly it is) but the taxpayers via the city are also harmed by the punitive lawsuits that are expensive to settle. A million dollars here, 4 million there, 6 million there, and that's real money to the city budget and pretty soon you basically give up prosecuting all but the most obvious cases because it is expensive. By driving up the expenses as much as possible on each case, the "Everyones" Lives Matter agitators are trying to reduce the number of successful convictions. It's a valid tactic for them as all they care about is reducing the statistics of how many people are in jail.

Unrelated to this thread, but I can't believe Neighbours didn't come up with Bail Out first. They use portals all the time. By the sounds of it, every single country in the Neighbourhood uses portals to travel around and some, like Galo, use them in combat. Aftokrator has a portal black trigger that they use to recover failed soldiers and they even have trion soldiers that mimmic black triggers, but somehow they didn't to have something that automatically recovers soldiers.

Fuck, the Meeden Bail Out seems to be entirely disconnected from their other triggers. Turning agents into energy beams and launching them at high speed across large distances or even through walls is so radically disconnected from Border's straightforward "hit things with a trion stick until it dies" mentality that it's just bizarre. Neighbours should have Bail Out and Meeden shouldn't.

If you're going to go that route, might as well ask why exactly Neighbors keep getting "forced" to open a gateway at Border HQ.

What exactly is Border doing to force enemy gateways to appear next to their stronghold? And why haven't Neighbors figured out how to get around this? Most of their incursions would succeed without issue if they could open anywhere besides Mikado City.

I disagree with that last point. It makes sense for Meeden/Earth to have it specifically because they are so different. They aren't a war country, at least in the same sense as the others of the neighborhood. Their first and foremost goal is to protect their own asses before attacking anyone else and taking prisoners. Neighbour triggers seem to work differently. Border triggers are modular and all about combos, but Neighbour triggers seem to focus on having one versatile function that they do really, really well. Lamprys summons and controls magnetic shards and that's all, Nikokyra summons and controls sticky slime and that's all, etc.

Then again, Koskero can use Nikokyra and an unnamed mortar that shoot portal shards, Wen can disguise herself and make doubles and summon dogs, Lamvanein has a gun, shields and fly, so maybe I'm totally wrong.

Given the Meteor he has appears to be a shooting trigger, not a gun, he probably uses it to lay explosives the way that Akane did during the battle with Nasu squad. Katori squad underestimating them is pretty much a given. Katori knew jack shit about T2 having dismissed them for losing badly against the top tiers. Without her participating, there was a limit to what her squad could do to prepare for T2.

I don't think Kakizaki squad underestimated T2. They just seem to lack any specific plan in general. Nasu Squad picked the river map with a plan in mind to use the river to their advantage. Azuma squad picked winter conditions with a plan in mind to use the snow to their advantage. Kakizaki squad seems to have picked the cityscape more or less at random. They seem to lack any specific plan for going after the other two squads, and have spent the whole time reacting rather than taking the initiative.

The result has been they've been stuck dancing to T2's tune. Sending Teruya out after Chika is the closest they've come to taking initiative, and it's likely too little, too late.

I also want to see how many seals Yuma has up his sleeve. He fought in a war with his BT for three years, then travelled across the Neighbourhood. He should have dozens of the things that he's stolen from all kinds of countries, rather than the four (Bound, Boost, Chain, Echo) he's shown in the manga. He got two new seals from one attack in Meeden, he should be rolling in seals.

This is an interesting thought. Sniper's can't allow their position to be found not just because they can then be attacked, they're going to be so far away that no-one but other snipers can attack anyway, but because people can defend against them if their position is known. You can avoid their lines of sight using alternate routes or cover and (in World Trigger) you can focus your shield to defend against their shots.

You can't defend against Chika with shields or buildings. If you know where she is, there's nothing you can do about it. Sure, you can head towards her but you can't defend yourself as you do so.

T2 are clearly a top ranking B-team. The lower and middle ranks are just a formality.

Unfortunately, the two top B-rank teams are actually fairly high rating A-rank teams. Border bureaucracy just dropped them down into the B-rank without thinking things through.

We don't know if Ninomiya Squad can't return to A-Rank, so it might just be a temporary thing with him being in B-Rank. Kageura will probably stay there however since he seems to have no interest moving up however they weren't a very high ranking A-Rank team. So they won't have that jarring a skill difference for people looking to challenge A-Rank

Wasn't it just that he didn't have an interest in going on the Away Missions?

If he really didn't care about being A-rank then I'm not sure he would have been up there in the first place.
