Rewatched it for the same reason. The guy was right, the series has a kind of melancholic dread that never really lets up. No one seems to have much hope, and the only cheerful character is Chandi, and she just seems neurotic most of the time. I can't believe how long ago that aired. I still remember learning new computer shit watching The Screen Savers on that network. How times have changed.
