Basically Shounen more or less requires powerlevels, and powerlevel creep. At least, that's one specific definition of a "Shounen" series.

Maybe one day I'll finish it. It feels like such a slog and like every chapter has to have a brief summary of what has happened throughout the entire fucking series, plus BAD SHIT HAPPENS THAT IS UNCONTROLLABLE way too fucking much. I'm somewhat curious to see how it all ends but meh. I think the gun bullet attack designs could have been a lot more creative and varied too although some are decent, and I would a Kurohime so hard.
