DSoD sounds okay to be honest. Only people who seem to dislike it are shippers who got cucked yet again, people who got their hopes up WAY too much or people who were going to shit on the movie anyway.

It's not perfect by any means though, the duels being so short and Aigami being a jobber are large problems. Although I can justify the duels by saying they were trying to write them closer to the OCG.

Nostalgiafags also seem pretty asshurt about characters that weren't even relevant in the manga not showing up except for the Season 0 Gym teacher.

The thing I detest most about Arc-V and all of the new people it brought on board to Yu-Gi-Oh! is that most of those new people are pretentious, and just looking for some outlet to look down on other people. It was Arc-V at first, used as a method of looking down on other Yu-Gi-Oh! installments and their fans (never forget the anon that called Yuzu versus Masumi round 2 the greatest Duel in the history Yu-Gi-Oh!) and now it's the movie to Arc-V and other series as well.

Yes. Kazuki Takahashi has expressed his belief that a Duelist's cards are primarily used as tools to express themselves and to convey a conflict of interests. But that's all that poster has going for him, everything in that second paragraph is pretentious garbage.

The final duel between Atem and Yugi is probably the only best thing of every Yu-Gi-Oh! seasons with the nostalgia-googles taked off. I watched DM (complete) and GX (season1). I thought the ideas behind GX's other seasons and 5D's were good, Zexal never quite interested me. But I fell in love with Arc-V within the first few episodes. I was intrigued by Arc-V's use of all summoning methods even though they introduced a new one, and also by the fact that the past series were turned into dimensions. I was only disappointed that DM won't get cameos and that Rituals were used only once, given that both were part of the original DM.

I started watching Arc-V when it was at episode 72 and holy shit Synchro felt forever I can't imagine the pain you lot went through since episode 50/54.

The problem with Roger is that we saw too little of him, we saw him carefully planing shit and yet almost nothing came according to his plan. Sergey episodes was great and i enjoyed synchro when Roger went all out, the starting point being the OF invasion.

He tried to threaten Yuya with a hostage and he failed.
