I've had sex and until I researched hymens I had no idea how they worked. It's not simple either. Hymens come in all shapes and forms, and they are actually quite complex.

As for the first question, I recommend you read up on the wiki article or do a quick google on hymens.

In short, depending on the hymen, in most women inserting a tampon won't be an issue. Although something like 1 in 200 women have hymens that won't allow tampons to be inserted.

Redline is a masterpiece when it comes to animation, and that is not strange considering its 6 years of production. An honorable mentioning would be Mind Game, and although less refined, Mind Game still has some pretty creative animation.
