It seems a bit silly that his bankai's true form is just a better version of another character's bankai.

It's also kinda annoying that Kubo keeps going back on his established lore, in that Ichigo's bankai was extraordinary for its small, compressed nature. I can kinda forgive Rukia's, since he was clearly trying to keep in line with the whole black/white thing he remembers occasionally, but the inconsistencies are starting to add up all over.
