A perfect student council president While both she and her sister have good grades, she scores slightly higher than her sister. Her personality is sort of fake, and she often clings to her sister for support. Her adoration towards her sister borders on stalkerish. After Yuki dies she starts taking an interest in Arihiro.
Makoto Tanaka: The character that would be normally the protagonist. Shy, awkward, beta as hell, has a harem of school girls constantly throwing themselves at him. Always kindly and awkwardly turns them down. Arihiro thinks that he might be a faggot. Makoto is secretly dicking his harem behind everybody's backs.

Episode 1: We're introduced to Arihiro and Yuki looking as if they're about to have a fight with each other. Yuki is asking Arihiro if he really wants to resort to doing this with a girl, she looks completely scared. She mentions that she's won every time they do this. He says he doesn't care and his fist flies towards her, turns out they were just playing a game of rock paper scissors, Yuki wins. Cue a lot of banter explaining their relationship and how they're decent friends who met at the start of the school year. Just friends. Eventually we Meet Makoto surrounded by a bunch of girls, he tries to play it off and acts uninterested at their advances. We also meet Sayuri, Yuki's twin sister. The three leave Makoto to his devices, as he tells them a girl wanted to talk to him about something stupid. Of course he doesn't seem interested in the slightest, cue obviously he's gay jokes. The three start walking down the stairs, when Sayuri starts to trip. Yuki attempts to help her sister keep balance but instead she trips and falls head first down the entire flight, breaking her neck. Because Sayuri fucks up everything, Cut to near the end of the school year, a week before they graduate and Arihiro tries to comfort Sayuri who's still pretty much broken now that her sister is dead. Honestly he doesn't care for her personality and is just trying to woo her for her body. He gives her a keepsake that Yuki gave him, to help cheer her up, and is generally just pretending to be nice to her. Eventually he decides to walk her home and take advantage of her in that state however... His consciousness gets to him and, pussies out, deciding to wait until later. Eventually time passes and he barely talks to Sayuri again. She sort of fades away from his mind until he sees her again in college her hair dyed blonde like her sister, and her clothing matching her sister's casual clothes.

Despite his melancholy phases, he's still kind to others expecting nothing in return because he doesn't think anyone will care anyway.

>Genderbent MC - Pretty stubborn as well, but stubborn in the opposite direction that she is extremely optimistic and won't give up. Shel tends to fail a lot anyway despite her great tactical abilities and needs MC to bail her out. Was in training for a military academy back home before being summoned. Falls in love with MC after a while before she realises, but holds off on confessing because she thinks it's too weird.

>MC's Childhood Friend - A long lost childhood friend which the MC meets back up with at school. She calls him cutesy nicknames, is eternally clumsy, and is extremely suspicious of Genderbent MC since she was never told he "had a sister". At the same time, due to Genderbent MC's similar appearance to MC, she becomes quite confused about who she is attracted to.

>School Council President - A bitchy girl who likes to tease boys by making fun of their dicks and sexual frustrations that they can't have her. She makes the proposal that she'll think about marrying anyone who can beat her in battle. She ends up beaten by MC through sheer chance but discovers it was due to Genderbent MC's coaching and seeing through her tactics. SCP winds up being attracted to both MC and Genderbent MC because she can't decide which one of them truly bested her.

Episodes 2-3: He meets Sayuri again, and laments on how she's started to dress and act a lot more like her sister. She tells him that she really wanted to see him again and constantly tries to show off her new fashion sense to Arihiro. Still accepting it, he says she looks nice, and suggests they hang out after class. Arihiro feels like this is where he can put his moves onto her. Sadly Makoto also tags along since he transferred here too. He talks a lot to Sayuri, and seems to get pissed whenever she tries to get arihiro's attention. Sayuri suggests thy go to a creepy abandoned house, to celebrate their entry to college. There they perform a ritual and summon the spirit of Yuki, who possesses her sister. Originally Yuki acts hostile, and wants to keep possession of her sister's body, but she comes to her senses and realizes that's kinda wrong. Eventually they get used to Yuki possessing her sister, and the girls take turns of whoever is in control.
Episodes 4-7: It starts to becomes kind of a typical slice of life drama just involving a ghost girl possessing her sister. Sayuri is acting super excited to have her sister back, and Yuki just enjoys being alive. It's implied that both girls start having a thing for Arihiro, and eventually be the end of episode 7, Arihiro agrees to start dating Yuki, much to Sayuri's distress. Openly they agree to make it look like Arihiro is dating Sayuri, to make everything look more natural.
Episodes 8-10: Although they're now in a relationship, Arihiro and Yuki have a hard time really working out their relationship, especially since they're basically dating through Sayuri's body. Sayuri meanwhile takes every chance she can to cling to Arihiro whenever they're out in public, generally attempting to come onto him, and keep up the appearance that they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Each time Arihiro rejects Sayuri, and internally thinks she's creepy.

There is X threat in this world, and a person's worth to a society is determined by their combat prowess, the government finds him and they use the magical battle prowess testing device to find out that MC is OP.

The government decides that he is too OP to just let him, roam around freely, they don't want to risk him rebelling or becoming a danger to society.

He is summarily enlisted in a prestigious high school, where he lives a true-manesq, lifestyle. A harem of different government secret agent girls(Tsundere who say's that she's his childhood friend, a Deredere that pretends to be class president, a Kuudere, who pretends to be a classmate but takes genuine interest in the MC later, even a pretend loli imouto that he lives with and a pretend Christmas cake teacher) are introduced to him, they all of course act as if they want the D. They carefully monitor him and attempt to model his behavior so that the government will be able to use him later on.

He is at first happy at first with his picture perfect high school life style, hanging out with cute girls, practicing his swordsmanship, being popular and well liked.

He later begins to suspect that not all is as it seems, his instincts lead him to believe he is being deceived, he acts on an impulse, and finds out that the whole shebang is a lie.

He plays along, while attempting to recover his memory in order to find out who did this to him, fighting X threat, improving his combat prowess and bonding with the girls.

Eventually Yuki and Arihiro attempt to get more intimate, however both of them feel awkward since they'd basically be using Sayuri's body. It almost causes a strain in their relationship and they almost break the thing off, before coming into terms that when both of them are fine with it, they'll have sex. Sayuri is of course, completely fine with it regardless.

Episode 11: It starts with Makoto and Arihiro having a talk. Makoto has a confession to tell Arihiro, a closet to come out of. Arihiro looks his friend in the eye and says he'll accept him no matter what kind of life he leads. Makoto admits that he's been banging half of the girls int he school and most of the girl's he's been fucking have found out about it. Arihiro looks him dead in the eye and tells him he's on his own then walks off. Eventually "Yuki" shows up, and starts acting coyly. They talk for a bit, try to figure out how they each felt when Yuki died at first, and Yuki goes on and on about how Sayuri felt, and about how she feels that Arihiro really helped Sayuri get through the initial death. Yuki suggests that they finally have sex and Arihiro agrees. Just as they're about to do it, however, Yuki says something odd, implying that she's sayuri, Arihiro figures out that he's been tricked the entire day and Yuki was gone all day.

Episode 12: There are three ways the story can end. Either Yuki NEVER possessed Sayuri and she was just an insane psycho who faked the whole thing in order to get Arihiro to date her, and become more like her sister. Arihiro runs the fuck away, and eventually moves out and lives with his buddy Makoto. Arihiro never recovered and god knows what happened to Sayuri.
The next post will describe the other two endings.

Now here's another possible set of endings. Sayuri goes on a rant about how much she used to admire her sister, and how eventually she grew to detest her sister after she came back from the dead, and how she doesn't need her any more. Yuki possesses her sister again, and she has a heart to heart with Arihiro. She explains that she can only haunt somebody who really needs her, and doesn't feel like sticking around in her sister's body any more. She and Arihiro have a tear felt farewell.
Ending 1: Following those events, Arihiro moves on with his life. He eventually gets married, and admits he made a lot of mistakes during those situations. He practically abandons Sayuri, and admits that, as terrible as it sounds, he never had any personal feelings towards her, nor did he really care about her. Maybe if he handled things better this story would have had a happier ending. Still he's satisfied with how things will turned out, and will move on with his life, As a joking aside it's heavily implied Makoto was gutted by his harem on a boat party.

Ending 2: It's a scene of Arihiro looking out of the balcony of his apartment, looking up at the stars. He recounts that he stayed friends with Sayuri, however he never really got too close or intimate with her, mostly looked out for her well being. Eventually they stopped keeping contact, but he feels that perhaps she managed to get some help, and move on with her own life. Makoto stopped being a horny bastard and settled down with a wife. Arihiro says something about maybe he'd settled down with a lucky lady some day, and we're treated to a familiar voice complaining. It's Yuki. Turns out she started haunting Arihiro because he needed her in his life, and although she's a spirit they have a decent relationship going.

And this is why I don't write romance stories. Gah I should stick to horror crap.

The girls find out that he knows, they decide amongst themselves that they want to help him, each one of them has some kind of tragic backstory or complex (Heroine arc in a nutshell). With each girl the MC helps he regains more memories and gets closer to achieving his goal.


Until finally the MC realizes that the big bad evil he is fighting is beyond his capability to defeat, he uses a self-sacrifice technique to extinguish the big bad evil, MC shares a warm goodbye with every girl.

The MC himself is chaotic good he isn't doing this out of a desire to be a hero or even a desire to protect anyone, he is subservient to no man or woman. He lives and dies by the blade, the most important thing to him is his owner and pride as a swordsman.

He will not attack an injured enemy or an unarmed one. He treats both men and women equally, and does not believe either gender is superior nor worth protecting than another.

He will go to any distance necessary to defeat his opponents, as in he is willing to chop off an arm or a leg or gouge out his own eye to achieve victory, however he does not do so in a dishonorable manner even if the enemy does.

What if we make the most generic battle harem LN possible but we put a WSJ style MC in it as MC?
