What do you consider to be the single most important event in JoJo? What was the most defining moment for the series? That can mean most striking moment to you, or what you think was the most important moment in the manga itself.

I think the most important part was Hayato beating Killer Queen: Bites the Dust. If he didn't beat that, then Jotaro would've died, meaning he wouldn't have been there to influence what happened in Part 6, and thus the universe reset. Also, it would've meant that Koichi would've died, and thus, a lot of Part 5 wouldn't have happened.

In the PB universe I'd say it's Emporio beating Pucci, it carried the weight of every Jojo victory until then. Any past victory was so close to going either way, and you value where you end up because you know how improbable it was to get there and how many weak links a bloodline has. And even the meaning of part 6 kind of put that into perspective, because DIO was kind of a joestar in blood too. And with his backup plan being stopped it showed how his bloodline in a way was also his weakness. Jolyne put her faith in someone else to finish the job for her, beating DIO at his own game. Plus it's like part 2's ending, a fluke of fate when emporio knew to put the disc to his forehead.

He couldn't interfere with Cheap Trick's ability either, even GER doesn't technically nullify other abilities only the "actions" taken with them. no other abilities can create abilities. What Rohan does is exaggerate what humans already do, not give them supernatural powers.

Best bet is whitesnake but even then DIO called it interfering with souls and it really only moves abilities it doesn't create them.

Some Stands have their own personalities, they're all different. The main antagonist of Part 6's Stand talks shit and questions his orders all the time (he still does them but he's a major cunt about it).

Having a Stand that affects Time allows you to move in the stopped time as long as you train yourself to do so. It's unlikly that Diavolo would know how to do so at first, but he could probably also use King Crimson's ability while Time was Frozen, thus avoiding the attack.

The real question then becomes, can Dio still act in the erased time? Or is that beyond him? GER only worked by itself, Girono wasn't aware of what it did at all. As far as he was concerned, Diavolo tried to erase time and then was just standing right in front of him for him to pummel.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Time Erasure is it's own "world", thus it is actually superior to The World since Diavolo is not bound by causality. Which is funny because that's why he has this whole thing about being chosen by fate because he basically lives outside of the system.

Another funny thing with that. King Crimson basically makes it so that he wouldn't be effected by the time speed up either. Realistically, combined with GER's effective immortality, Diavolo should have been another survivor of the whole thing.

I still wonder if Girono survived too, since it's debatable if GER went away or not since the arrow actually fell off him.

He still has GER in Purple Haze Feedback, right? Araki basically gave it his blessing as canon, so I guess he does.

I forget about the head part but he was punched in his Stand's left leg (the side that wasn't healed properly AND Jotaro injured earlier). A Stand is the manifestation of your soul and damage to a Stand is reflected on the user. That punch was enough to shatter his Stand, which not only tore apart his body but his soul. He was technically dead since his soul got shattered into a million pieces so his immortal body was still alive in pieces but unable to regenerate because the soul was missing.

Everyone still acts in erased time, it's just that they have to do what Epitaph predicted while Diavolo can do what he likes (except hurt people in erased time since he can't alter their fate from the prediction). So He sees that he's going to die mysteriously out of nowhere in 5 seconds. He erases time and moves somewhere else. DIO stops time (whether he can see stopped time inside erased time is irrelevant as long as he gets out of DIO's attack area) and is forced to do what Epitaph predicted. Erased time ends and DIO is confused as to how he teleported while Diavolo is in the prime attack position. So KC without a doubt beats TW, but DIO being a vampire makes it difficult for Diavolo to properly kill him (though he could do what Jotaro did and shatter TW, it'd be difficult).
