It is playable, that's what I figured out. The ones that works better are Chocolate and Lemon.
Chocolate because it can discard any Spellcaster to draw a card, plus the effect of Special Summoning any Spellcaster (besides Chocolate) from the graveyard when she is being targeted for an attack, and change the attack target to the summoned monster, and the attacking monster has it ATK halved. The only letdown thing is that if you discarded Northwemko then you can't properly summon her with her effect, but thank God for Pre-Preparation of Rites.
Lemon can search any Spellcaster from the deck by tributing another Magician Girl, meaning that you can add a Northwemko by using Lemon's effect. However, note that Northwemko is a Ritual so it will be harder for me to summon her. But if you thing about searching other non-ritual Spellcasters (like Prophecy, the same Dark Magician Girl archetype, and other cards) then it will be a lot easier, since you can pretty much use them unlike rituals who need both the Monster itself, the spell and the tributes.
Then if you want something else, Kiwi can protect any Spellcaster from destruction and target.
That's how it works, it depends of what cards do you want to use or do you feel it's more useful for your monster.
