Holy shit, cunts the lot of 'em.
Wonder who/what made the driver come back.
I want to flirt with Maimai.
I hate these guys.
The fuck is wrong with these people.
My god, a sane person.
He's going to go early, right?
Because he knows he's a piece of shit who would get easily beaten up by any other girl so he goes for one of the weaker ones.
Little does he know that she's probably possessed.
At least he has good taste.
I found the culprit, guys.
>non human on human female
Absolutely bloody disgusting.
Why didn't Driver-san go home and eat his eggs?
I'd sleep with these two.
Fucking sluts. As expected, women are useless
Butthurt because shes your waifu?
He either dies a kid or lives long enough to see himself become the adult. Also he gets fired from Kids Next Door.
Yes, but Lovepon will execute him for that.
>twisted fucking psychopath AND nicest person
it's in the wrong order it's in the wrong order it's in the wrong order it's in the wrong order it's in the wrong order it's in the wrong order it's in the wrong order
What position will he start off with first?
Hope these two bite the dust early.
Normal is the new sexy.
Well fucking shit.
I wouldn't get too attached to those two.
You will never cum on her face. Ever.
That teamwork. Nice.
I want Maimai to tease me.
I want to be a Mayoiga and to protect lovepon.
To tell her that everything will be all right and to cuddle her.
Why does she have the need to toy with him? Is what's his name some guy she knew that rejected her so she takes it out on MC to feel better?
>I'll let him fuck me but I'm just toying with him really
I still don't get that line of thinking. Is she just tsun?
Women toy with men and other women when they are in one of three states of mind
>She wants attention
She probably garnered a lot of negative attention towards her in the past, hence what she said when she introduced herself on the bus. It wouldn't surprise me, since she's such a bitch. When MC said she felt nothing for her it was so satisfying.
Toriyasu just made it into the top 3 best boys with this comment.
>some guy she knew that rejected her so she takes it out on MC to feel better?
Basically. She's a bitch.
>I'll let him fuck me
No you dipshit. Do you not know what a cocktease is? That's what she meant by teasing. She was just going to string him along and eventually break his heart.
I thought that comment was stupid. A very good point had been brought up earlier and it was a good thing that people started to question what was really going on.
If you just like stupid men that question nothing around them, that's fine too.
>A very good point had been brought up earlier
And Mikage used it as an opportunity to puff himself up some more. His attitude actually reminds me a lot of a certain strata of /a/ posters.
Yeah, that guy is disagreeing with you. Are you ESL or something? Mikage was just being a prick and pretending like he'd noticed the same things Nanko did. Toriyasu calling him on it is nice, since normally people like Mikage can just bullshit their way into leadership positions.
They are in the village from Kuma Miko. Both Kuma and Miko have gone insane and murdered everyone in an orgy of cannibalism and bearsex.
>Mikage was just being a prick and pretending like he'd noticed the same things Nanko did.
I understood what he was referring to at the last minute. To be quite honest Mikage never came across to me as that type of person before but it certainly is possible.
>are you ESL or something?
Unnecessary and resolved nothing. Feel better now? Back on topic.
>That guy is disagreeing with you
I understand that now because there was confusion at first with which guy both of us were talking about.
>character description says Yottsun is a good guy
>everything he's said so far is negative and hateful
>already might rape someone when they barely reached the village
Why would they lie like that?
if you order this from morning to night, you get their deaths in order.

>Lion's character bio says she can see dead people
He's acknowledged in the beginning of the first episode.
Stop being so dumb /a/
They were all under the impression that there was some utopian post-capitalist egragrian society hiding deep in the mountains, beyond the reach of the government, and that they were going to go live there and be showered with freshly grown fruit, busty women in togas and ikimen with 8inch dicks
Speedstar did get a new pose.
The MC and Vomit chan didn't get new poses because speedstar was literally leaning on the bus, the previous pose wouldn't work with the new angle of the bus.
>Why wouldn't anyone point out that he'd introduced himself twice?
They just assumed he's crazy, like everyone else on the bus.
You might as well ask why nobody called out Lovepon for saying she needed to "protect her identity" or why nobody called out Varukana for being a loud, obnoxious bag of dicks.
So what does this symbol mean?
I can guarantee we'll see Lovepon and Varuka get called out later in the series.
There's nothing to support the Speedstar isn't real theory nor the skinwalker theory. Everyone's getting too excited.
>bus driver sees someone knocking on his door, panics, cut to black
>Suddenly he shows up "GUYS I CHANGED MY MIND I NEED TO LOOK AFTER YOU" despite never showing any concern for them before, aside from disdain for how retarded they are
>Doesn't comment on what scared the fuck out of him to anyone
What's your theory then, friend?
There's not enough evidence to decisively conclude any theory, guy. We're 2 episodes in.
Jump on the inductive reasoning bandwagon and enjoying making some hasty inferences like the rest of us. Evidence and facts are overrated.
hold Lovepon close when she's feeling scared and paranoid.
stroke her hair and tell her I'd be here to face the eternal abyss alongside her.
And then she offers you as a sacrifice to the ogre/skinwalker.
>What's your theory then, friend?
That he's either possessed or in cahoots with whoever led Koharun to the village. I don't doubt that crazy shit's going on, but there's no reason to believe it's skinwalkers, especially since that's a Native American creature. It makes me feel like we have /x/ or /v/ crossboaders
I'll abandon both when I get some booze in me.
>That he's either possessed or in cahoots with whoever led Koharun to the village.
I'm iffy about the second, since we saw his solo scene (unless his surprise was "Oh hey it's you" instead of "OH FUCK", but I doubt that), but the first is also a possibility.
People are just citing skinwalkers as a catch all for "something else has taken over his body/assumed his appearance".
> It makes me feel like we have /x/ or /v/ crossboaders
Oh fuck, people browsing more than one board? Completely unheard of!
/v/ is shit though I agree
Speedstar is pretty likable but he's dead so I don't think he counts.
Jack is entertaining, but Toriyasu and Pink Goddess are really growing on me just because they are reasonable fucking human beings.
Both are correct. Technically, it would be "boiled eggs with your ramen" but you can drop the your in casual english because it's clearly implied by the structure of the statement.
I know they can, but if the setting is in a Japanese village, the creatures (if there are any) are most likely going to be references to Japanese folklore.
>Oh fuck, people browsing more than one board?
It's not even that. It's like that guy is implying people can't have knowledge of a certain topic without being crossposters coming from a board dedicated to said topic.
EVERY SINGLE TIME
Rhyme: Wailing and shivering, they go to eat the children (tl note: ねん子 in this sentence could refer to としこ 年子, which means "children born in consecutive years", so no twins).
The seven ogres of Nanaki Village are howling. They're hungry, and they're howling.
They howl, kidnapping children to eat them.
The sleeping children look just awful. They look nothing but hideous in the eyes of the ogres.
But when they eat one of those revolting humans, surprise, they're a mouth-watering delicacy.
Once you eat one, you just can't stop. The ogres finish their work and say the same thing they always do.
"Oh man, I could go for a human child right about now."
Rhyme: Remove the bad eyeballs
There isn't much useless part in human children, everything is edible. But there is a place that is unacceptable.
It's the eyes. The taste is not bad, but it can cause a violent food poisoning.
Eating them can lead to death. "Eat the eyeballs and you'll lose your life".
So, no matter how delicious it is, the eyes must be left aside.
But it is not a rule in the village. They are free to eat them if they wish.
If they're lucky, nothing will happen, but there is also cases where it can lead an healthy one to its sudden death.
They are free to do it. On their own responsibility.

I wasn't implying that, I just think that claiming its skinwalkers is a very /x/ thing to do.
I can't find any instance of a Japanese skinwalker. An anon mentioned Amanojaku, but it isn't similar enough to what everyone thinks is responsible for the Driver coming to the village.
>The seven ogres of Nanaki Village are howling. >They're hungry, and they're howling.
>They howl, kidnapping children to eat them.

With a title like Mayoiga and those claw marks in the next episode, I hope Chen appears and kills them all.
That's a pretty intense campaign.
I'm guessing they signed some kind of contract at the start of the ride, because the organizers of every larp I ever went to were huge security nazis.
You think a tour populated by people who are willing to throw away their lives and start over in a village with no outside communication/support would be made up of the smartest/most well adjusted individuals?
Especially when the criteria for being selected for this was essentially "CONGRATZ YOU ARE THE 1,232,543TH VISITOR, CLICK HERE TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE!"?
>I hope Chen appears and kills them all.

The nursery rhyme is a metaphor for people turning against one another due to pride, greed, etc. and hurting/hating and preying upon their fellow man. It's not about literal cannibalism, but sadism. Misanthropes finding themselves in lavishing the suffering of others, but fearing judgement (eyes) and so hiding it.
My name is Yottsun, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are fat, retarded, no-lifes who spend every second of their day looking at stupid ass conspiracies. You are everything bad in the world. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any pussy? I mean, I guess it’s fun making fun of people because of your own insecurities, but you all take to a whole new level. This is even worse than ramen without boiled eggs.

>This shit also appeared at the same picture that Koharun received
The only thing that makes sense is that Koharun is the first experiment in the Nanakimura. The guy that she's with doesn't know about it. No one sent her the email because she mentioned that there's no wireless connection in the village. Also, the most obvious hint is that she has a picture of the weird symbol. Everyone on the bus that was asked how they found out about the village didn't mention seeing a single picture of the weird symbol.
The village is built by the government to contain insane/deranged people and observe how they respond to certain scenarios that seems 'supernatural' but really isn't (the bus driver and Koharun are sent by the government to stage another experiment). The evidence is the solar panel in pic related. Solar panels in Japan started being popular in the late 1990s; there's no power lines connected to the village so it couldn't have been built before early 2000's and way the buildings are damaged and the amount of dust left confirms that the village was used in recent years. Strangely enough, there's a telephone booth and a telephone but I'm certain that they're not working.
Nanko would point out most of these which would lead to her being killed by Koharun or the bus driver. Yottsun would be killed by Puke-chan by some weird accident.
Well, we already need a rough average of 3 deaths per episode if we want to get to 1/2 people at the end.
If it does happen it will either start slow and ramp up, or halfway through a fuckton of people will die and then the rest will slowly be picked off.
Originally it was left to right but people said
>left to right
>No one sent her the email because she mentioned that there's no wireless connection in the village.
She said she got the email BEFORE the tour started, that's how she found the village and then organized the tour after, why would she hire a busdriver and organize the tour when she didn't even know where the village was?
>Everyone on the bus that was asked how they found out about the village didn't mention seeing a single picture of the weird symbol.
Presumably because she's a university student and Nanaki village/folklore is her area of study/expertise, whereas everyone else just wants to leave their old lives behind/browse conspiracy blogs instead of doing their own research.
>the bus driver
His solo scene where he freaks out at the knocking doesn't mesh with your story, why did he freak out at the knocking on his bus door? If it was Koharun, wouldn't he already know she would come and get him later?
>not reading >>139868927
>thinking that anyone in the show is not insane
It's all a government conspiracy to experiment with people that have high probability of going deranged/insane/isolated by society. Why do you think Koharun and Dahara (tour guide) let the angry guy be the supposed leader? Don't you think they would've at least questioned him?
What >>139868927 said supports the idea that it's a government experiment. They're testing to see how they can use the place as sort of a detention camp without the people being detained being aware of it.
But the other anon said 3 people per episode would get them to 1/2 the amount of people after 10 episodes, no matter how you think about it, that varies more than just "a bit".
>supports the idea that it's a government experiment
OR, or, the people attracted to the idea could just generally be unhinged because most people wouldn't just uproot themselves to go live in a village nobody knows exist.
Nothing explicitly supports it being a government conspiracy.
"She said she got the email BEFORE the tour started, that's how she found the village and then organized the tour after, why would she hire a busdriver and organize the tour when she didn't even know where the village was?
I apologize if what I said in this line isn't clear. I meant to imply that how would a person send her the email if the village doesn't have a wireless connection? Don't you think it's weird that a person took a picture of that village when it's already rumoured that it's hard to find? And to boot, they managed to get out of the supposedly village which makes people lost.
>Presumably because she's a university student and Nanaki village/folklore is her area of study/expertise, whereas everyone else just wants to leave their old lives behind/browse conspiracy blogs instead of doing their own research.
If Nanakimura was such a study of village/folklore study, university professors would've figured it out already using GPS photos and just some clues to where it should be. And don't you think it's weird that she didn't bring anyone else from her university into the tour so that she can have someone verify her findings?
>His solo scene where he freaks out at the knocking doesn't mesh with your story, why did he freak out at the knocking on his bus door? If it was Koharun, wouldn't he already know she would come and get him later?
That scene is a red herring for the viewers. It's not some supernatural creature that knocked on the bus and I'm guessing it's someone that we haven't seen yet but probably related to Koharun and the bus driver. The bus driver's family is probably being held hostage to coerce him.
>Nothing explicitly supports it being a government conspiracy.

Please anon. Have some reading comprehension.
>1/2 can't mean anything other than half in that context.
It totally can.
1/2 can easily mean "one or two", especially in that context since everybody knows that if people start dying, it's not just going to end half-way, it's going to keep happening until there are only "one or two" people left, IE, MC and someone else, probably puke chan.
What the fuck?
>captcha: select all images with eggs

I bet you fags will stick to a mundane pet theory then cry about shitty writing when it turns out to be something supernatural.
>it's a shed
I don't think so. The house in >>139870898 from another perspective in pic related already has a shed connected to it. Although I can't be sure if it's just the way they drawn the buildings but I'm certainly sure that's a solar panel because no electrical lines are going to the village so it would make sense to install at least a solar panel to power the bare equipment needed for the people to live so they can be at peace during the night to keep the experiment running on for much longer.
>All the ideas and dreams about how it's going to be
>Having favorite girls and boys only for them to get violently taken away from you
>It ends in a disastrous disappointment
Pretty much, yeah.
my basis is comparing the roof trim of the main house and the shed. they both have the fancy traditional japanese roofing trim.
the 2 screenshots make it a bit tough to see, but that shed is actually across the dirt path. per the aerial shot, it should be next to or behind a normal chain link fence but it looks like they didn't draw it in.
>load of 'presumptions'
>"showing not telling"
>being this new at literature
I wouldn't be even mad if it's something supernatural but judging by what's going on in the series so far and what >>139868927 said, it's a huge possibility that there's no supernatural element involved.
Also, Okada did IBO. Notice at all how she used some level of reality to push the fact that the protagonist's side isn't that invincible at all)
>I apologize if what I said in this line isn't clear. I meant to imply that how would a person send her the email if the village doesn't have a wireless connection?
They could have left the village before sending the email.
>Don't you think it's weird that a person took a picture of that village when it's already rumoured that it's hard to find? And to boot, they managed to get out of the supposedly village which makes people lost.
Oh, yeah, it's totally suspicious, but it could just as easily be explained as someone trying to lure in Koharun and other people, doesn't necessarily mean it's government.
>If Nanakimura was such a study of village/folklore study, university professors would've figured it out already using GPS photos and just some clues to where it should be.
Sorry, I meant more like that she was a university student studying folklore/history, and Nanaki village piqued her interest (hell, maybe she's writing her thesis on it), and using some knowledge of anime in general, it's not unusual for a character to find/do something that more senior/experienced people haven't before.
>And don't you think it's weird that she didn't bring anyone else from her university into the tour so that she can have someone verify her findings?
I'll agree it's suspicious, but could be explained in that most people aren't willing to hang up on a bus with 30+ crazy people to try and find a village that probably doesn't exist based of a single anonymous email. That isn't super solid though.
It's not super odd that she wouldn't bring her laptop, since once it ran out of charge the thing would be useless, but what is odd is that she didn't bring notes, including a printed out version of the email with her.
> The bus driver's family is probably being held hostage to coerce him.
There is zero supporting evidence for this claim, in fact the bus driver during his outburst showed only disdain for his mother (although presumably he wouldn't want her to be killed)
I noticed the design too, but I considered the fact that if it's a shed, why should it be close to the supposed town square and beside a 'house' with a shed already connected to it? Wouldn't it make sense to have it connected to the house too instead of wasting space and placing it somewhere near the house?
you're thinking too hard. this isn't a real place, someone just drew a shed in because they thought there should probably be another shed in there.
if the geography of the town becomes important later on maybe we can revisit this, but jumping to all sorts of conclusions about a screenshot of a roof in a dark that you think MIGHT be a PV panel is about as grasping as straws as it gets.
keep the theories reasonable.
While his outburst doesn't imply he wants his mother to die, do you think someone would say that shit when their family was in mortal danger?
>That scene is a red herring for the viewers. It's not some supernatural creature that knocked on the bus and I'm guessing it's someone that we haven't seen yet but probably related to Koharun and the bus driver.
"It's someone else" is probably true, but we have no evidence that either Koharun or the bus driver are in it together. As it stands, we just know the bus driver saw something knocking on his door, and he didn't like it one bit. It's a possibility, but it doesn't have anything more to back it up than "it's a wendigo/skinwalker/etc" ideas.
There's also the footprint that was clearly not human (unless the third party you speak of was slinking through the bushes with fake shoes on, which is a possibility but it's not any more likely than an actual supernatural creature)
Also, in relation to the solar panels, I'm with >>139871654
in that I'm almost positive it's a shed or small building of some kind, from that angle we just can't see the other half of it, since it's covered by bushes. The "solar panel" is just the roof, it has gutters on the side leading to what looks like a drainage pipe, if it was a solar panel, it would be on top of the roof, not be the roof. From what I've seen the village doesn't have any lights or anything (feel free to correct me though). The rusted to shit telephone is the only thing that we've seen that requires electricity to run and it clearly hasn't been used in fucking ages.
>They could have left the village before sending the email.
Take a look again at how the buildings were damaged. Some buildings were burned and some aren't, yet (so far) there's no sign outside the buildings that there were any sort of conflict that went on between the people that lived in it and it's all too clean, leading me to think that the village is an experiment and the government sent cleanup crews to clean the mess caused by the previous experiment but keep the damaged buildings to give the next group of people in the experiment the feel that they're in for something 'mysterious and supernatural'.
>Oh, yeah, it's totally suspicious, but it could just as easily be explained as someone trying to lure in Koharun and other people, doesn't necessarily mean it's government.
