Just spent the last three days reading from ch 1 to 85. What are /a/'s thoughts on this shounen? Haven't seen a thread yet so I wanted to know what you guys think.
This thread is lacking best waifu.
It's pretty sweet. Good banter, everyone is waifu/husbando-material, nice look at a superhero-fueled society, art is great. Just ignore the shit-poster threads now that the anime is out.
The characters are great, the story is fast paced, and i've always loved capeshit.
Also, every girl is best girl holy shit. so much THICK
I'm hyped for the day Deku goes 100% One For All.
Another great series that shitposters will attempt to ruin.
He already went over 1000% during the summer camp invasion against that muscle dude
If Hori loves Precure and western female-led movies like Force Awakens or Mad Max how come female representation in HeroAca is average shounen tier? No woman among the top heroes, the only girl among the top of the class is Momo and she is a bully magnet, Uraraka and her rivalry with Togo will be defined primarily by their romantic interest in Deku.
I hope down the line they animate some of the omakes, and specials. I wanna see Tsuyu in her homelife taking care of her siblings, and making friends snek-chan.
Pretty much Tsuyu is the only competent female hero atm. Momo is actually capable, but lacks confidence.
>thoughts on this shounen?
I want to fuck this frog
>All might dies in front of Kacchan
>Bakugou starts fanboying over the vilian who killed All might
Fecal Matter is going to be striking the Rotary Air Impeller these next few weeks
Love this pacing
How will the faction lines be split when AFO inevitably buys off half the heroes?
bakugo has an inferiority complex, once all for one shows him power he will all in love with that and turn to the dark side like the dumb motherfucker he is, big chance all might will die too
The fact that All Might's power is fading is a clear foreshadow of his death. By that time, Deku would have been able to control a higher percent of One for All, but i dont think Bakugou is gonna walk the "Sasuke path" as a result.
Deku and company will find evidence of AFO's continued existence during this raid. All Might will survive his raid and likely rescue Bakugou. Once Deku shows all might what his group found then All might will likely judge that at his current rate of degradation, and Deku's growth, he will be forced to gamble on a high risk Operation against AFO, He will Disrupt AFO's plan with his preemptive strike and buy Deku more time to assimilate OFA. But All Might will also either be killed out right or escape even more heavily wounded and likely expire shortly thereafter
I don't have any character that I find dislikable and I particularly like Kacchan.
While there's nothing too innovative or deep with the plot, it's well executed and moves very fast. There still hasn't been a Namek or a long ass flashback.
Prett good in general and I hope it can keep up that way.
I fucking swear, it's like Horikoshi lurks these threads or something.
Anons pointed out Hagakure and Jirou both being conveniently out of commission while this is happening before. And some were theorizing that Kacchan was just going to roll with villains and ollie out the first chance he got (which was brought-up in-story).
>Implying they haven't been already
What I'm surprised at is how resilient these threads have been in spite of that.
>All of these anons responding.
I am ashamed.
What the fuck are you talking about?
AFO's gonna steal Kacchan's quirk, not show him power.
Kacchan's going to become the quirkless hero Deku was originally meant to be.
When will Deku find his Batman?
What if he is Batman?
why would AFO care about Bakugou's quirk? Seems like an un-needed risk to show the hero community that AFO is still alive by stealing Kacchan's quirk, when it isn't some super duper unique ultra gamechanging quirk.
AFO doesn't want his quirk... I think he wants to show society how one of U.A's best students easily turned into a villain, so since he's not cooperating he'll most likely get brainwashed
It's not that AFO needs or wants Kacchan's quirk; it's that Kacchan's an insubordinate little shit with an inflated ego who needs to be shown who's boss.
What does Kacchan want to be? The best hero that ever was. What will taking away his quirk do? Effectively neuter him and crush his dreams into tiny pieces.
Murder is super edgy, but turning a kid into a husk would be that much stronger. It sends a message about just what the Villain Alliance can do. Anyone can kill, but THEY have the capability to render people powerless.
What do you think is more likely to inspire panic: One kid dying or heroes potentially being rendered useless as a whole?
I dont think he's going to brainwashed or change sides at all. What will probably happen is he's going t try and fight the VA and get shrekt to near-death until Deku and squad show up to save him, like the first invasion with Aizawa's rape.
>Tsuyu is the only competent female hero atm
Ochako hasn't shined much but has the most potential
Especially with her hand to hand training with that brawler hero
The girl that's able to create items is the current best female hero seeing as she's gained her confidence back and was able to get the tracking the vice on a villian to retrieve Bakugou
But right not AFO's great asset is surprise. All Might thinks he has been dealt with for now, if he steal Bakugou's quirk is he literally telling All might that he is back and active again, AFO is obviously an intelligent villian, I find it hard to believe he would waste all the effort of setting up Hands to be the center of the villian alliance as a surrogate for AFO, if he was going to give it all away and the element of surprise by stealing a quirk that he doesn't need.
All Might already knows that AFO's got something to do with this. He's known for awhile that AFO isn't dead. If we go with the improbably knowledgeable chessmaster trope (or just Tsukauchi or whoever being the mole), AFO knows that All Might knows.
If we take it a step further, AFO may very well have prepared for the event that those bases get attacked. There have got to be more that the Momo tracker hadn't even picked up. In the event that heroes go after Shiggy, Black Mist could easily take him and whoever else and ollie outie.
Also, AFO is super duper top secret. Most U.A. personnel don't even know about it. It's not going to be tossed out into the open just yet. AFO's definitely not in any of the bases the Momo tracker picked up, and Shiggy's got a walking escape rope with him. AFO can keep keikaku-ing in peace and there's nothing AM or anyone else can do about that right now.
Leaving Kacchan quirkless is something that CAN'T be hidden. It's going to come out eventually. A meek student like Kouda could work around it since he's not in the limelight ever. But Kacchan? That flashy ball of anger who got on EVERYONE'S radar with the sports festival? They're going to smell something's up. It's only a matter of time.
And when it comes out? Pandemonium. Villains have SOMETHING that can steal quirks. Cue propaganda and people freaking the fuck out since they don't exactly know what that something is.
Maybe in like the last few chapters they'll have the full transformation so its just not a big power level show afterwards.
If Deku is to be the next All Might, its logical he comes on top after attaining the full power right? no more level to climb to after than.
I did the exact same thing anon
>yfw this was all a part of AFO's keikaku
>yfw he wanted all the big name heroes to attack the bases at once
>yfw the baddies manage to do some real damage because of it and Momo hates herself for being the reason
I also did the same OP. Its literally x-men: the manga and if you are familiar with western comics it has many of similarities, parody, and call backs. Its ok for a shonen jump title but nothing special.
>My Hero Academia
>The new Naruto
It is. You want to talk about Black Cover? BC is the new Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, One Piece, etc etc even Harry Potter. It takes inspiration in an insane number of famous franchises, that you cant say just 'BC looks like Naruto', it looks like everything, really. BNHA tho? Its like the first part of Naruto, no more no less.
>tsuyu finally shows in anime
>every sentence ends with "-gekko"
how would this make you feel?
>BC is like a lot more series
>BNHA is naruto part 1
If any BC is naruto part 1.
>both MC are orphans
>both rivals are black haired, super cool, super elite quite type who everyone praise
>both MC want the postion of ruler of their country
>both never shut the hell up about their dreams
>both are dumb and weak starting off
>both have something special about them that cases them to become strong
The list goes on and on
Decent shounen, I also marathon'd it
My biggest complaint is how boring Uraka is, she's the main love interest ffs, yet every time she appears my eyes just glaze over her and hurry to the next panel
It's okay. The art is pretty good, ramps up on occasion. It had a strong start but kind of fell apart when it turned into battle after battle without any buildup or payoff. Dropped it a little after they fought the tongue guy. The author really likes Bakugou, and really seems to want me to like him, but he's a giant faggot.
Makes sense. Only those with patrician taste such as myself can truly appreciate Uraraka. Normalfags flock to Momo and only degenerates want to fuck a frog.
Just started reading last night, at chapter 45 right now.
I really like it, I think it's better than black clover, but this Bakugou shit head is making it really hard to enjoy. I didn't know I could hate a character this much, somehow even more than sasugay.
Damn good writing.
Also why are their powers called "quirks" ? Why not just call them mutations or, fuck, just call them POWERS?
Deku is pretty meh for an MC and you'd think that after 85 chapters he'd finally come up with creative ways to resolve a conflict without having to break his bones.
I figured all those hero notes he's written was him being analytical on how to become an effective hero but apparently they're just about muh hero ideals.
He's only had his powers for a few months in manga and he has the most physically powerful quirk.
The rest of his peers have had theirs for a decade.
He just learned how to go full cowl. Give him some time anon.
Nah man he tries really hard to do all that stuff, but take the last fight for example, you have to weigh your options.
>Both of them die because they are fighting a fuckhuge muscle monster
>Deku breaks an arm trying to defend them both
What can he realistically do against someone who can run and jump practically faster than he can come up with any other plan?
That aside, he did most of the thinking for the other students in the following chapters.
Imagine the comedy when Deku suddenly transforms in class. I know it won't happen, but still.
so is bakugo
going to become a homonculous or what? so far the comic has had this "almost got cucked but I saved it just in time" vibe going on but how long until somebody actually gets cucked?
all might went to the wrong building anon, are you new to heroes vs villains?
This is a young justice/justice league scenario where the justice league is written as a bunch of incompetent fagets to give the newer characters legitimacy in the villain fighting world.
because it's a less used but still valid way to refer to powers when almost everyone has them and they are nearly all different. It sets it a part a bit more and makes it more iconic.
I bet Baku tries it but gets shut down pretty quickly. It would be a step back to show the villain A-team get clowned on right after their first real victory (especially since Baku's lack of cooperation has already made that pretty hollow)
Toga's still a bit of a wildcard until we see what her quirk does, but considering she's had to rely on knife-fighting so far you're probably correct.
Magician guy might well be able to solo anyone in a 1v1 setting, depending on how exactly his quirk works. If he just decides *poof* you're in a ball now, then that's a tough quirk to counter.
The only way I see Uraraka as the mole is if she was leaking info accidentally somehow.
Does all-might really being a crippled gangly dude make him a better person than his public image?
Everyone thinks he's the best dude ever, the invincible guy you can always count on.
In reality he's a messed up dude with a lot of problems, but he tries his hardest to make himself look like the best person ever.
That's some monogatari series type shit, man. Because he's a fake trying to be real, does he become more real than the genuine thing? Does the fact that he tries so hard to be perfect make him better than someone who is perfect by nature?
Even Urarak and Froppy were able to stand up againt her a little. If she attacks Bakugou, who has incredible reflexes head on as she did against the girls without drinking blood or something pic related will happen. Her situation will be even worse because back then she was attacking to kill, which is what Bakugou wanted to exploit.
Well, he is Batman, but more like Captain America. He did go through majority of Sports Festival without using his powers.
Bakugo is obviously his Superman (in training), he's that big massive wall that is superior to him genetically in every way.
Yeah I pretty much agree, she's been shown to be pretty capable with a knife but I doubt she could do much against Baku if that's all she's go since he's probably at least equally capable in combat and has at will explosions. Just wanted to point out that her quirk could swing things in her favor if it does turn out to be combat related.
So what is Bane-chan's Quirk?
She said she only got one person when asked how many people she got. I wonder if she sucks up enough blood she can take a whole or something body since they did say rag-dolls body is gone but there was a huge pile of blood. Or it could just mean she got Uraraka and if with enough blood can use their quirks for a short while.
She was referring to Uraraka, Dabi chastised her because her quota was 3 blood samples from different people. So whatever it is it must matter that she has samples from different sources. Some have speculated that it's a mimic ability where she can change into the form of someone whose blood she's drained.
Perhaps it's a variant on quirk mimicry, where she can ingest the blood to make use of the donor's quirk for a time?
it could also be a bezerker type quirk where if she drinks blood she gets a massive power boost. Different blood types could gives her different powers as well so thats why he would have wanted her to get different types. Like A types give her brute strength, B types gives her amazing reaction times, AB types give her defense, and O type can give her all 3. How much blood she drinks prologs her state. Just a thought though.
>Bane-chan becomes Uraraka/any girl from UA
>I don't fear for you are here.
All Might's last words to Deku, I'm not going to make it, send help.
>Just spent the last three days reading from ch 1 to 85. What are /a/'s thoughts on this shounen? Haven't seen a thread yet so I wanted to know what you guys think.
its naruto with superheros instead of *ninja.
What's up with Shonen Jump obscure hotties getting fat?
>All the Star Wars themes and homages at work
>mentor All Might dies, pupil is undertaken by teacher's own former master, who is a squat little guy that is actually quite strong and wise despite initially seeming a bit off
>AFO will be revealed to be Deku's father in a tweest moment
>he probably knew his son had a busted quirk, and took it for himself before faking his own death/ducking out on Dekumom
Please God, no. Hori, you've been fairly good at mixing things up enough to not make it too tired, but I swear to God if you pull this shit, I will fly to Japan and tell you you're a fucker.
speaking of that, can someone post his twitter, want to follow him to not miss any more of these if he gets back at it
Quickly, how many hours til episode 2?
Here's frog and a witch in exchange.
Does grapes have a chance with any girl other than earjacks?
I think Horikoshi will turn a generation of gay boys straight with his healthy women
you didin't even post the best girl.
Are you ready to Noumu Ragdoll localizing all the heroes blowing up the surprise attack?
How exactly would ruining UA's reputation destroy the Hero society?
Worst case scenario, it would just mean that heroes would begin training once they're 18 instead of when they're 15. Heroes wouldn't go away.
Isn't it kinda strange that the entire UA staff forgot that they might've a mole on the inside?
Like, what good will do the ambush and their press release do if the villains still know everything?
Also, this is the perfect setup to get baku to join the villains. If they manage to kill All Might, Baku will switch sides for sure.
Because there is a mole no one of the teachers are taking part in the mission. Eraserhead and the rest don't even know that the attack is happening tonight. Only the principal knows about the attack.
>Also, this is the perfect setup to get baku to join the villains. If they manage to kill All Might, Baku will switch sides for sure.
This will never stop, will it?
Why would Bakugou join the villains if they kill All Might? If anything he will break down to see the person he admires because of his strength and abilities, getting killed. He said so that there is nothing to make him change his way of thinking. That's why they are going brainwash now.
The only thing he gives a shit about is power and being #1. He is only on the side of the heroes because they're perceived as stronger. If villains can prove they're stronger by killing the strongest hero alive, Baku has a reason to join.
>Animal who has experimented on by humans for having a Quirk
>Resents humans for that
>Has an army of robots, ready for war
>Wouldn't give a shit if heroes and villains all kill themselves and destroy human society
And people think Invisitits is the traitor.
You got it wrong then.
He is not power hungry. He wants to be #1 and be the best and he is trying to do that through studying. All Might showed him he can do that. He is his motivation.
Just because Bakugou admires the strength and determination of All Might, it doesn't mean once All Might get defeated he will change and join the villains. He has no reason to. I am sure he has thought of the possibility of All Might getting killed in action. And in fact, he himself said he wants to surpass him one day. Isn't this also a way of defeating All Might?
I thought all this Bakugou going villain thing would have stopped with the new chapters, but nope shit it's still going strong.
I heard you guys are shitposting other threads to try and remove shitposters from your threads so I've come here to shitpost yours. I hope you enjoy me being here. Fucking pieces of shit.
These are villains, no problem with this. And he says kill but it might just be because of his language. He would not go and use his powers for criminal acts. He also stated that he still had his combat authorization, he is aware of the laws.
imagine the potential
So /a/, which one will have the saddest backstory?
See, I told ya.
He isn't even on the staff, baka
if society cant properly keep villains from escaping then the only solution is to kill them.
Here, the first noumu used to be a small fry.
He also has good sources, like that guy that was talking with him the first time that he appeared in the series, a designer of tools that can improve quirks. Maybe he was the one that made the costume for Toga.
>my teeth are more chipped than his
>my family has a calcium deficiency
>my mom has a bridge and my grandma had dentures by high school
>my teeth will inevitably crumble to nothing
Deku would be much cooler without a quirk. Think about it, he would constantly need to outsmart his opponents, instead of relying on his glass cannon all the time.
The manga would give off another vibe, like "you don't need powers to be a hero, look at this scrub!"
Why is there no Villains course at the school?
Lets be honest, the existance of Villains are only beneficial to Heroes. Without Villains, Heroes would lose their government money.
So why not train Villains?
How many more times do we have to discuss this? No, Deku without a Quirk would be bullshit. He would have to train for over 10 years to become as strong as Stain or Eraserhead. He would have to use weapons to even compete with powerful Quirks, without guarantee to win. And even then he would never be able to defeat someone like the first Noumu or Muscleman.
This is what Quirkless Deku would be:
>15 year old
>No strong body
>No weapons, because a students isn't allowed to wield 25 knives like Stain or get special alloy weapons like Eraserhead
>No knowledge of martial arts
>No money like Batman to buy all the gadgets
>100% plot armor and asspulls to make him win
The fight with the muscle fiber guy was pretty much pulled out of his ass. It started off pretty great too, but the end was just no different than DBZ between two guys shooting beams.
I understand that people wanted him to be like Batman, but what people don't realize is that Batman's power is his wealth, and even then the amount of bullshit the series has to pull to make him win is ridiculous.
But would you have liked multi billionaire Deku Batman who buys himself the power to compete against others while the others train their whole lives to become the best?
Deku is Captain America, started as a weakling with a big heart and now on his way to greatness through the help of others and his own efforts.
Also, without a Quirk there would be no need for All Might as Deku's personal teacher/trainer in the story and i think everyone likes All Might.
Capeshit inherently is bullshit though, so while I agree wealth is Batman's power, the second half of your post is moot. Think of it this way, one guy with an M16 and a few clips can take on pretty much 90% of the heroes in MHA in a 1 on 1. Heroes, not civilians mind you. That's strictly 1 on 1 in a 'fair' match.
Then you give real weapons and not gimmick costumes to villains with actual quirks and it's game over given Blackmist can probably snipe you from any god damn angle.
I don't want him to be Batman, I want him to be an interesting character.
Like, remember the sports festival race, where he won because he stockpiled mines and rode the blastwave? That's the stuff I want to see. It makes it so much more interesting to read, rather than "boy punches bad boy really really really hard and wins".
He even has the perfect backstory for it, with his hero diaries. And him being a coward.
Will you be my victim tonight Anon?
He would stay as a teacher, but not be as close as he is now. Eraserhead would probably be closer to Deku than All Might in that scenario, as both wouldn't have super strength Quirks and need to train.
And we wouldn't get scenes like this.
You do realize that Deku's OFA end game is going to be stronger than All Might, right? All Might's are so powerful that they can change the weather. You also realize that Deku has no way of knowing how much of OFA his body can handle until he does it, right? You also do realize that it was stated that he could only handle 5% way back in the tournament arc, and that might have gotten stronger since then?
Hori said his role would have been the same, but their relationship different.
Deku is able to handle 5% since after the tournament arc, there is no indications that it changed. He did a little Quirk training but that's all, he went 100% and destroyed his body, he is still at 5%.
>but not be as close as he is now
Why not? Deku could still be his "successor" as a symbol and thus would requie his help, instead of being a literal copy of him.
All Might is near his end, but there comes this quirkless bastard that still wants to be a hero. All Might gets so moved by this that he decides to train this weak fuck into a powerhouse, without harry potter quirks.
Their relationship would be probably even deeper than now, because as of the moment All Might only cares about him because he let him have his powers.
And the lesson learned at the end of all this would be that you can still be a Hero, even if you can't talk to squirrels or you can't use your earlobes as earplugs.
Take the fight with Stain for example. Stain can immobilize anyone if he drinks their blood.
What happens if he drinks his own blood? Wouldn't that have been an interesting tactic to see? Try to nick him and make him immobilize himself?
Based on doujin shops and conventions, I'd say they're around equal with a slight lead to Todoroki. There were quite a few BakuxTodo which I picked up too. 90% of stuff has some combination of those three characters.
I was expecting Todoroki stuff to lead in general ever since Hori said he is very popular with the female readers.
>There were quite a few BakuxTodo which I picked up too
Ah, nice. I have start liking this a lot recently. I follow an artist who is into the pairing. Glad to know it has a few stuff.
Do you consider sharing anything here?
Or in the Mougen threads?
Sure, but we and the kids don't "know" that. It would have been a tactic worth pursuing, and much more, for the lack of a better word, realistic to see some small fry kids try to outwit the killer instead of punching him really hard a couple of times.
Totally, but wouldn't that situation be more tense and interesting? Instead of getting a build up for a bad ass character that loses in the first fight we see with him?
It would have been more tense because Deku would have been fucking useless, he wouldn't be able to harm, or even distract Stain, wouldn't be able to dodge Stain, and Iida and Native would have gotten killed. And that's assuming he would have even gotten there in time.
But there was no time for tactic. Stain was ready to kill Iida and Native and he slowly shifted from sparing Todoroki to killing him, too. With every attack he got closer to killing them.
A tactic fight is possible in the situation now with saving Bakugou, where they have time to plan, but against Stain it was act fast or die.
All Quirks have strengths and weaknesses, but with enough shot of a gun, even a hardening type like Tetsu had pressure, because you can't keep it forever. All depends on how you use it.
Todo is definitely very popular with the fujo manga readers. It's likely Baku will get a popularity boost from the anime airing since he's central from the start. And yeah, I'll look into sharing on the homo threads.
How are they useless? Even that stupid kid who literally only had a pistol nearly took out a guy who is literally made of rock and had to be double teamed, not to mention he was underestimating both of them and was nowhere near as fit.
No one can possibly defeat Blackmist if he went cawadooty, he just has to bide his time and drop a grenade on you while you sleep.
Because of her craziness it would be the easiest for her to change sides. She likes people who bleed, there are at least 2 people who fit that criteria on the hero side.
Imagine how she would torture Grapejuice to bleed by plucking his grapes all day.
So with hands asking for power I really hope its some kind of regular power so there can be a nice baku fight. It'd also be neat if he keeps the power for a long time (since he seems kind of underwhelming at the moment and something like super speed would make him absurdly terrifying)
...But I get the feeling its going to be some kind of mind control crap and now heroes are going to have to fight Baku and the school is going to look even worse
I don't think I've ever read something where I was completely adored the entire ensemble cast. Everybody in Class A is just so likeable, its insane.
>Brainwash Bakugou with a Quirk like Shinsou from the sports festival
>Send him with Blackmist out into the city to destroy some buildings with his maximum blasts
>Go back to the hideout and turn off the brainwash
>Let him watch the news where everyone calls him a villain
>Shigaraki: And? Where will you go now, mister i just destroyed 5 buildings and killed countless civilians?
The best way to break someone.
They don't exist. After the current arc it will be around 130~ chapters, then it'll be the time skip which leads Deku to third year and by then society will be so fucked over UA will be run to the ground.
>take out the mask
>Tetsux4 would have died without Kendou blowing away the gas
>literally used gas as a sonar to aim his pistol
>Tetsux4 was losing his hardness with every shot and was spoonfed to you
You're shit posting and you know it faggot. Fuck off back to /co/ if you're going to pretend capeshit makes sense.
>Class A and maybe a few others are the only ones still around. They don't have the budget for more or everybody left after the Academy had its name dragged through the mud.
>The kid with the copy quirk refuses to leave, he just sits in Class B and talks shit all day
Almost all of Class A had their time to shine and damn they shined brightly (except Satou but his time will come), Class B is full of interesting sidekicks and a few of them had proper introductions and were shown in action, the heroes have good designs.
Even the villains are cool, that villain alliance new genesis unit is full of quirky characters like Bane-chan and Twice.
The gun is what kept Tetsu or Kendou from just tackling his ass you moron. Now stop being retarded and try your logic if the kid had a fucking AK-47. What then? The gas wouldn't even be needed other than sonar, because Kendou would be dead and so would Tetsu. It's a FACT that his hardening can't withstand multiple blows of that level. A machine gun would rape him in less than 5 seconds.
So explain now faggot, how are guns useless when the guy who is made to be a literal tank can be killed by something some random terrorist can grab?
I thought he only did this once, and we don't know when it happened.
Also, it wouldn't be surprising to have class 2A and 2B, as well as 3A and 3B.
Now if we ignore the heroes, how about support? Business? General Education? We only saw their first classes.
Judging by panels when Gran Torino mentions making AM barf under his training, AM looked like more broad chested Stain (they have trangely similar chins) with trademark hip-hop hair. When buffing with OfA, he sizes up to All Might. Now, with his injury and power transfer, he can't keep the size for long, and his ordinary look is half-dead skeleman.
Series is heading for 400~ chapters planned by the author. Most series with time skips have a 40:60 ratio or something similar, and this arc assuming All Might dies is going to be long.
If there's another arc after that featuring the 2nd/3rd years, by the time that ends it will be well into the late 200s, leaving very little space for shit to ramp up let alone a time skip which is a must for WSJ high school battle shonen.
That's what makes this manga great, since ever character is likable in their own right. Mainly because no of them have a trope forced onto them.
Well, except Mineta and his pervertedness. Yet, even he still has his own character qualities that make him unique.
>AM looked like more broad chested Stain
But he was younger back then and still in training, in his debut his muscle form was the standard. When Deku will get older, he'll be buff and use Full Cowl, I don't believe he'll ever be as tall as All Might but he won't transform. All Might looks like a skeleton because of that injury.
Despite Mineta being the most stereotypical shonen comic relief there is, after his focus during the Final Exams I've come to like him a lot more. He's just ultimately not a glamorous hero. Also, the fact he's Hori's self-insert make it impossible for me to not like him.
ok fellow anons.
predict the amount of suffering izuku will go through when all might eventually dies.
This is probably how Deku will look like as an adult, or after 2 years. Not as buff as All Might, but still very muscular.
he won't notice because he's in mid-fight, and passes out after the fight for days/weeks.
when he wakes up he gets the news, which finally will make him into the hero AM wants him to be.
I've been missing threads for past couple chapters.
Was number three hero ever mentioned?
He will arrive later, when things are really looking bad.
Doesn't look that for off from what his eyes usually looks like.
>Having the traits of confidence and excitability that Invisible girl has, but we can actually see her
>Tomboy, but still looks cute
>Usually shipped with best boy Bakugou
How can you not like her?
I read all three but FA have some mistakes at times. The biggest problem with Viz translation si that they are often too childish. FA translations are even more rude than NS, Bakugou's especially.
She acts as the big sis of the class, he is more like her immature kid brother. If it's shipping the previous arc gave more hints with Tetsu though I don't think it's necessarily romantic.
If you removed side-tail her face kinda looks like a cute boy.
Maybe that's why I like her.
I'm a fan of thick as much as the next guy but your fucking delusional if you don't think Jirou is the cutest
Lips cracked, eyelids and skin around eyes cracked and baggy. Coupled with pronounced capillars seems like he gets little sleep and has vitamin deficiency. Hair is unbrushed and greasy, teeth caked with plaque. And I bet he also rarely showers, giving away smell of sweat and shit. And given the characteristic of being an autistic man-child Shigaraki comes of as ideal spot-on basement-dwelling self insert.
I think it's also going to be Bakugou. He was the only one who didn't appear in the previous CP with all the mains plus his birthday is two days after the chapter is out. I think Hori might also take this into consideration, who knows.
So if all might power has been passed down 7 times how hasn't anyone else noticed it yet? I mean that type of strength is above the normal reinforcements type. And now that deku owns it, it should be 10x more obvious definitely with him using the same name for attacks.
Maybe that's just me reading a bit to much into all of this because I can't even picture deku begin able to use 100% of the power. But I still would like to know. And I wonder how deku will become number 1, I mean yeah he has OFA which gets stronger as its passed down but still todo ability should only get stronger also as he trains.
You are exaggerating and not all users were popular or with only OFA. Deku used 100% a few times already. Strength type are not that uncommon and muscular has showed that he was quite powerful. There are people who can turn into giant monsters and stuff, Deathtegoro who as super strength and so on.
The power is like a multiplier of sorts, so all mights power has only been at the level it is now once he took it in. All Mights teacher prob only had about 60-80% of AM current power, so it makes sense that they would be able to fly under the radar or something
Not to mention that All Might is just a badass on his own though. Its not just OFA that makes him number 1 hero
>Baku does not destroy Deku's notebook, as a result he goes home at the normal time and misses his chance encounter with all might.
>Instead his normal route home has him collide into a girl testing out her home made inventions.
>The girl is Hatsume and is enraged at her gadgetry being destroyed when she needs it in just a few months to apply to her new school.
>She demands Deku serves as a guinea pig for her gadgets to compensate.
>Deku attention to deku and knowledge of quirks ends up making him an ideal test subject
>he and Hatsume become friends and Hatsume lets him use her gadgetry in his goal of becoming a hero.
Better or worse?
>deku you'll be paralyzed if you keep this up
>deku do some rehabilitation please
>ignores this and decided to go fuck around saving bakegou
>doesn't think to tell pros about tracker and let them save bakegou
I dislike new retarded deku.
So we have One for All and All for One. But where are One for One and All for All?
the heroes know about the tracker though? Otherwise they wouldn't be standing right in front of the hideout at this very moment
