I always love glasses side characters, but when they're the heroine of anime/manga I feel like their appeal just went down. I'm not sure why but I prefer if they're a lesser known characters.
I had my lenses replaced.
I used to wear glasses, the big kind.
I still think that a nice girl can look pretty in them.
I don't like art done by people trying to imitate the anime style who aren't Japanese. It's often painfully apparent. I'm no expert, but:
>non asian often has this weird styling like it has a hint of capeshit
>chinks have chicken scratch with somewhat heavy oriental style similar to making chinese dragons or whatever
>gooks try to do their 3DPD coleean faces like bizarre mofos, despite their bitches getting plastic surgery to get rid of them
I'm not being a grorias nippon shitter, but I don't get why a lot of artists can't seem to stray from what I listed.
I like 'em but it sucks having bad eyesight yourself.
I absolutely love them.
In anime swirly glasses are the fetish above my normal glasses fetish.
That's a great thing, enjoy it to the fullest.
To some extent I agree, but on the other hand, there are too few main meganekko.
Eh, each to their own.
Sawako is great, ain't she?
Meganekko are great, nerd or not.
I actually like wearing glasses myself.
Meganes are always the shittiest characters of their respective shows
Why do bad genetics look so hot?
Of all the nice semen demons of that anime you had to pick the Homura-tier worst girl
>liking the party's personal slut
>>I actually like wearing glasses myself.
I mean, that doesn't invalidate what the tripfag said. As a person who needs to wear glasses sometimes, I hate it every time. I don't mind the glasses themselves, what I mind is the realization that I'm going to fucking go blind one day and this is the first step.
On the bright side, looking at my genes I lucked out. My father wore glasses much longer than me and I only need to wear them if I overwork. Fucking scary whenever I do, though.
People only recently got to like Homura now that she dresses like a cheap whore. Literally nobody liked her when she wore glasses.
It emphasizes the eyes, often gives the character an air of seriousness (if square glasses) or innocence (if round glasses) and it looks cute (very important)
I see no good reason not to like good glasses.
If "bad genetics" is that much of a bother to you, then stop watching cartoons where no one has a nose.
I liked gasses Homu a lot
Why do you think you will go blind from being a tad nearsighted or farsighted?
I need my glasses all the time to see clearly and I won't go blind from my myopia.
It's when you have extreme hyperopia or myopia, that you have serious risk of retina detachment.
And even people with normal vision can go blind as well from various other eye disorders or even stupid accidents.
Don't be a dumb hopychondriac and be glad you don't need your glasses that much, I'll be glad that my myopia ain't that bad and that I like meganeko.
Always liked characters with glasses since childhood.
Be it girls in glasses, boys in glasses, animals in glasses, inanimate objects in glasses or just glasses on their own: I love them, I love nothing else in this world more than glasses.
t. tasteless pleb
I just don't like homolust shows even if they're about glasses.
>Literally nobody liked her when she wore glasses.
I'm fruitlessly hoping she'll put her glasses back on but keep her hair unbraided in the sequel.
