His shit is still pretty fun to read on and off, nothing to get really emotionally attached to like before though.
Hopefully they execute Yachiru well because frankly, they fucked up making swords into avatars in the fillers and the only well executed ones are still just Old man Zangetsu. (and even all these canon spirit avatars are bound to a dream/spirit realm, nothing like Yachiru which seems so real. (I'm excluding the fillers here)

Same. Even though Bleach has overstayed its welcome for over a decade I can't stop reading. It's like a drug. Aizen is one of the intellectually dumbest antagonists of all time but he's so entertaining. The characters make ridiculously dumb decisions like there's no tomorrow and yet I'm still somewhat interested.

Kubo is great.
Bleach is pretty enjoyable if you read it right. It's not very fun to read weekly but works well to binge. You have to not take it too seriously but at the same time take it seriously enough to follow all the twists and come up with ridiculous theories and predictions for Kubo to steal from /a/ threads.

I don't think he's a " genius " , but you know what? I thoroughly ENJOY reading Bleach. I don't know if I'm desensitized or if it's just a nice different direction from the other former big 3, but it's just fun.

And a big thing I appreciate is that it seems like Kubo is having fun (without being a tryhard or insufferably lazy).

I like the fappable traps, the instant teleport behind you keikaku moments, the constant fashion show costume changes, and the blindside deaths or curbstomps.

It's just fun... And it kinda feels like a more humorous Tokyo Ghoul, but that might just be me.
All in all, Kubo's a great artist and we all know his weak points by now, but I think the man knows how to keep you coming back for more.

They made some good points though. Aizen wasn't really smart. He mainly relied on taking credit for things he didn't do, smugly throw away any manipulative advantage he had in favor of angering all of the SS, and only got out of situations he didn't plan for (which were a lot) due to his kyoga suigetsu. I didn't catch any of this when I read the arcs with Aizen in them such a long time ago because I was a dirty speedreader.

I think Kubo is generally great at paneling and at drawing his characters in various ways within one chapter. It's hard to get bored plowing through Bleach chapters.

Also designers don't go on the catwalk. It would make more sense for them to have the models participate in proxy battles like pokemon. Or maybe have the models turn into sentient weapons wielded by the designers. That would be right up his ally.

Getting back into it after 6 years or something, restarting from the start. Early, early Bleach was and still is actually very good. It's not until HM when the plot kind of dips and gets contrived whilst rehashing the SS arc but I still think Kube has one of the most consistently best character designs out there and even better fashion sense.
