STOP DOING THIS
>hurrrrr muh 2D
Shut the fuck up newfags, live action adaptations pretty much always surpass the anime versions especially dramas. If you care about the source material this is the way to enjoy it. But since you're kyoanifags I doubt that concerns you.
>but muh waifus
First the Chihayafuru announcement, and now this.
I'm not fundamentally against live action, but most of the time it's not done well and can't translate over well.
Only good adaptations I can really think of are Little Forest and Umimachi Diary, and it's mainly because they work as serious works and don't try to do things like replicate exaggerated expressions and behaviors (couldn't get into Nodame live action because of this).
If it's going to adapt everything the anime did, it's going to be too compact and suck. Maybe it'll focus mainly on festival arc?
Oreki will probably confess if that's the case. For the people who watched live action movies (not tv series) of stuff like Kimi ni Todoke or Ao Haru Ride, did they give conclusive endings with pairings?
If you care about the source material, you'd read the source material, not an adaptation.
>If it's going to adapt everything the anime did, it's going to be too compact and suck. Maybe it'll focus mainly on festival arc?
It'll adapt the first novel.
I watch it for shipping shit then move on to the next shipping shit thing. I also like to complain about the lack of kiss and enjoy making threads about the fanfiction kids of the protagonists. Also Nichijou has shit animation next to Hyouka.
> live action adaptations pretty much always surpass the anime versions especially dramas.
Are you >>>/jp/ ?
If the live action quality as good as Crows Zero or DMC, I'll watch it. But mostly live action is complete sucks.
>There will never be a movie adaption for the 5th book
I'd rather have nothing. Fuck you for getting me excited.
Am I the only one who enjoyed the episodes that were just Oreki and Chitanda the most?
Satoshi and Mayaka just felt like they were getting in the way by the end.
Will be cautious about it.
There already was "Hyouka" adaptation - "biblia koshodou no jiken techou" Live action, and it was quite disappoining compared to source.
Very much will depend on cast. Biblia made fatal mistake casting actors thats nothing like originals.
New Nishio Live Action is better than SHAFT Monogatari shit.
This, fucking anime only fags. Cant even say you care about "animation" since in Shaft case there is none.
Nodame Live action was > anime as well. Its true however theres lot of shitty live action dramas (Yamada and 7 Bitches.. ugh)
Yeah. Those people are called retards. The only worth of Nishio is its language (as opposed to say Narita, which is pretty simplistic) and talent for unexpected.
Monogatari as adaptation is shit. Katanagatari is lot better, but its different format. Not counting his manga stuff, since it can be just adapted as in.
Just hope SHAFT will not get Zaregoto or Densetsu. Okitegami Kyōko thanfully got proper drama adaptation so not at risk of being slaughered by Shinbo
>Monogotari directial style
So, most people praisng monogatari as post Bakemonogatari newfags that did not see nothing Shinbo made. Monogatari has litterally nothing new on say Moonphase.
First season had none.
If you expect Anime but just with live actors - dont. Get ready that it`ll be different, not what you expect/used to - and then you may enjoy it.
It adapts the book, not KyoAni adaptation after all.
