Yeah, pretty good, some standout scenes, slowed down by its pacing and by bringing up tons of plot threads they probably would have resolved in a second season they'll never get. All-around good experience, some rad fights.

Argevollen is quite good. It's one of the most actual military military mecha and takes the time to focus on the whole unit rather than shafting anybody who isn't a pilot or the captain. Expect a moderate pace, and don't take the first three episodes as indicative of the MC.

He does the "I NEED TO DISOBEY DIRECT ORDERS TO SAVE PEOPLE" standard protagonist routine twice in the first three episodes, then never does it again.

It actually is a crazy ride. The directing is good, character development and all kinds of crazy card combos are played. The action duels are essentially kinda bad (you take cards that help you on the field as you move) but overall it is really fun. Ask the thread where you should start and remember to never skip Shun's duels or Gongenzaka's duels either.
