Marco got epic BTFO? ROFL
Lots of info this chapter.
Now we get our own little adventure with the crew that wasn't on Dressrossa.
Sanji still not in the manga but I know Oda has a plan and I trust he'll deliver something greater than I can imagine.
Nekomamushi and Inuarashi where retainers of Douzen that was on Roger's ship.
Blackbeard and his crew are way bigger monsters than we thought they were. They may actually wreck shit at the revolutionary army.
Nami such a good navigator she can skip plenty of islands.
He misremembers meeting a famous person. With all these connections going on,it might be likely that he met with Dragon, or rather his father did, whom was plotting something with the wanonese or something. It's not a very strong theory but I just got the idea with all the namedropping and connections.
Holy shit balls, Dressrosa was a fucking slug of a arc, but the wait is paying off. All the set up Oda did is going down big time and he is making even bigger hints of events to come.
Now it finally fells like we're in the New World.
Also, Marco and Neko for nakama.
>Blackbeard and his crew are way bigger monsters than we thought they were.
I never thought they were that impressive as a whole.
Marco, Jozu, and maybe Vista were the only ones outside of Whitebeard himself who did anything of note during the war while the rest of his commanders just got into little spats with nameless marine fodder.
You take away all the allied New World pirates (who we don't know if they were there or not), Whitebeard himself, and the Impel Down gang that showed up and the big army that fought the marines is now sort of shitty looking and small.
I have no doubt that Blackbeard+fruit+his commanders+his new crew+more fruit power are more than a match for what amounts to three tough guys and slightly stronger fodder.
>Momo really met Roger and he's alive
>Luffy can hear the voice of the elephant
>Crew is split again
>No need to stop by Elbaf
>Ohara 2.0 is at the end of the grand line
>Blackbeard destroyed Marco with the power of his dad
Well Brook can infiltrate in Spirit form. He'd actually be pretty useful for an infiltration mission.
If I had to make the perfect SH infiltration team:
Yea they'd be the best.
Ok so my one question about the log pose was answered.
So I take it the last Island has the Rio Poneglyph which is closer to the Rosetta Stone than "the true history".
I also have a feeling that when Roger recruited Rayleigh Roger already sailed the world once due to his comment of "Turning the world upside down"
>Luffy, Nami, Chopper, Brook going to a wedding
>Neko, Samurais, Robin going to Grorious Nippon
>Zoro, Franky, Usopp aka True Monster Trio staying to fight Jack
I don't know that I would like it for every arc from here on out, but it's somewhat refreshing for now. The crew is already too big to let everyone shine in a given story when they're all together. Hell even splitting everyone up for Dressrosa, Robin didn't get to do shit but hold flowers..
I could see him doing it again with 1 arc focus, though shorter than Dressrosa, to even it out for the SHs that've been missing. Then continue back to "normal" once they've all reunited
>mfw patiently waiting for Bonney to join
I'm hyped for Marco joining the story again.
Also the last 3 chapters are a 10/10 worldbuilding piece.
>Y-You need a navigator so I'm going too.
I'm hoping for 2 ways and I also think it's what we'll get
Sanji vs Big Mom was a grand cliffhanger, I don't think Oda will be doing something like that again with any of the SHs, at least not any time soon.
Call me crazy, but maybe he really did meet Roger, who only staged his death or some shit?
I don't want to start any crazy theories, but Oda rarely pulls a joke like this without thinking up an explanation later on.
I think in the long run, it'll be really cool if we see the 2 or more arcs simultaneously - jumping between the two in chunks.
In the short run though, the story will move to a painful crawl. It's basically like have two Dressrosa arcs going on at once. And with one chapter week (along the occasional breaks), it's going to be a pain in the ass.
>mfw I've been waitinf ever since the timeskip to hear about marco, only to learn that he got BTFO'd by blackbeard
Life is not fair.
Well, if there's something like the king of the giants or a leader of the giants, he's probably gonna be a strong motherfucker.
But I don't think Luffy is gonna be fighting in Elbaf of all places.
You know what? I rather be a fruitfucker than to sympathise with a hairy black dude that can't laugh properly and is fat fuck. You think Marco is a badly drawn character? Think again, faggot, he is an Admiral-tier fighter with a unique fruit. It's not funny anymore, I am triggered.
Nobody likes Brook. Brook is just some guy they've known for like a month tops (2 weeks before time-skip, and 2 weeks after) that does lame jokes and hasn't really bonded with anyone.
It's why fans don't care about him either.
>would end up in a wedding dress
Already been done
HELP, HELP IF I READ FEWER THAN 20 PAGES PER MINUTE I'LL EXPLODE.
So anyone else think Brook is going because some kind of connection to the Vinsmokes?
>mfw hyped for Wano
>mfw hyped for Germa 66
>mfw hyped for Jack
No matter what Oda does next I will be pleased. Feels good man.
Roger went to Skypia, met Gan Fall and carved a message into the poneglyph. What, his crew didn't come with him?
Also, there are other sky islands but they're not talking about islands. They're talking about a sea of clouds. The white sea is the only full cloud sea we know to exist.
A miracle that you haven't been captured by the world government mr. spee D. reader -san
You are assuming they were already part of the crew when it happend. Also, Skypeia is located before the new world, and I don't think it moves around, at least not as far as to go to the new world.
tl:dr You are wrong
>Upcoming Big Mom infiltration arc
>We'll only see Luffy, Nami, Sanji, Chopper and Brook for the rest of the year
>tfw zorofags got epic BTFO
>Whole Cake Island, Big Mom getting BTFO optional
>Search for Marco cover story
>everyone rendezvous at Wano
>Weeble intercepts, trying to get at Marco, gets his shit pushed in
>Kaido BTFO arc
That sentence could be a figure of speech, but since we know there is a literal sea of clouds, it's likely that they at the very least know of it; on the other hand, why would they bother sailing up there if it's not to find a could island?
Brooks better man up and do some fucking amazing shit this arc. Despite being a fast as fuck skeleton swordsman he didn't do shit against a bunch of goons with guns. If zoro was there he would've chopped up everyone in the room and sliced up any bullets that managed to get shot.
>zorofags got epic BTFO
mfw next chapter Zoro tells Luffy to do not worry about Jack and go to Tea party because he can handle it alone
>mfw rescue Zoro AND Sanji arcs running simultaneously
le foreshadowing :'))
>roger is alive !! twist of le century
She'll navigate Sanji's dick, if you know what I mean.
Blackbeard Victory (Personnel kid) list:
Vista (who evenly fought Mihawk)
The Dacalvan Brothers
And the Cat and Dog who were strong enough to defeat Jack sans weapons of mass destruction.
And Whitebeard himself.
Arguably he made Shanks retreat when he scarred him.
And there are people who seriously believe he won't kill Kizaru.
PS kizarufags, now he has Phoenix, Kizaru is literally helpless against him.
I agree in that I don't like the idea, but Momo doesn't seem to be lying in that particular frame.
Perhaps it's more like Roger embedded part of his soul in something as a guide on Wano.
This very chapter we discovered that Roger only learned about the poneglyphs at the end of the New World. On the following page we have:
>"Roger himself greatly revised the course of his journey after reaching this point"
The message he left in Skypiea suggests he understood what the poneglyph was talking about and that he'd even already followed its instructions. He had to have already passed through the New World to have that information.
Actually, last chapter said that carving the poneglyphs is a secret known only to Oden's line. Roger needed to have Oden on board at the time to have left that message at all. It's one thing to understand the poneglyphs with the voice of all things, it's another to carve a message into the stone in the ancient language.
>Sanji's calling off the wedding with three-eyes
>"Someone in my family is getting married to a vinsmoke"
>She smells the scent of oranges from nami
>Flashback reveal a bigmom in east blue due to the sweet oranges
>daughter of bigmom dies of childbirth or some messed up situation and nami ends up in Cocoyasi Village
>Nami takes one for the team and marries Sanjikun
>Making vows, tells Sanji "you owe me 1 billion berris"
>Situation resolved in an unexpected way
obligatory mention that Brook's Yomi Yomi no mi was back out there at this point
Daily reminder that Oden is still alive.
>thinking that this is foreshadowing of Roger being alive
Rayleigh said that Roger's last words to him were literally,
>Don't worry, I won't die, Rayleigh! *big grin*
Does this page explain how "ordinary" pirate crews can get to Raftel without having someone who already knows how to read the Poneglyphs?
They reach the final island and then they learn how to there, somehow?
But then there's no way Robin would be the only one who can read them if that were the case so I don't know
I think this chapter fried your brain my friend.
You can't reach Raftel without knowing how to read the Poneglyphs.
The instructions, which most likely are written on a Poneglyph, on finding the Road Poneglyphs are on the final island.
check dem trips, it's obvious she realized she's spent too much time away from the pirate king and needs to assert herself over him passively since he would be too dumb or indifferent for a direct move
You are overstimating the number of pirates able to get to that point, and they also must be get a copy of the poneglyphs in the hands of Kaidou and Big Mom to get to Raftel. So it's still very hard completing the New World
>"My wealth and treasures? If you want it, I'll let you have it...search for it! I left all of it at that place"
>"Btw, forgot to mention you'll never ever find it if you can't read Poneglyphs"
Marco is one of the most in-universe overrated characters in the series, due to his lack of offensive power.
Even together with Vista, he could not scratch an Admiral. Meaning, he has no chance against Yonko, which are Admiral-level. Yet, this is implied multiple times.
Nami is being kind of a dick to Brook in this chapter isn't she?
But yes all in all pretty damn nice. I hope those retards won't post "Roger is alive" in every thread now because Momo clearly meant Ace, hell Ace even said out loud he was in wano that one time. But what happens now? So Luffy, Brook, Chopper and Nami go to Big Mom, Law, Zoro and the rest go to wano and cat-dog go to meet up with Marco? That's one hell of a lot shit that's going down and we don't even know who the fuck is going to deal with Jack
I know, what I mean is that what Roger really wanted was for someone to find whatever is in Raftel and finish what he wasn't able to due to his inevitable death. There might be an actual treasure, but the promise of wealth was just something to bait people in. I'm mostly just speculating, but it seems likely at this point.
>I want character assassination
Ugh. What I really want is a flashback that shows how Sanji became obsessed with chivalry. Maybe his dad hit his mother or whatever.
I mean, the strawhats are all idiots aren't they? Luffy had this honour thing where he let Bellamy spit on him and beat him up. Zoro had this honour thing where he let Mihawk slash him open. And Sanji's honour thing is not harming women.
What matters is that they have something more important than their lives. It's sad that just because you're obsessed with not being a white knight or whatever that you can't see that.
Yes, but they were still alive when Roger sparked the Age of Pirates.
He was counting on pirates figuring out that you need to be able to read the ancient language when they get to the end of the Grand Line and then getting an Oharan to do the translating.
This was because Nico Olivia and her crew of Archaeologists got caught sailing the grand line, most likely attempting to decipher the four road poneglyphs. Though Nico only stated that their goal was to fulfill her dead husband's will, it's possible her husband died attempting to find Raftel after Roger's speech.
I agree that flashback would be interesting. The thing is, what if his and his nakamas life are in danger yet he still can't do shit because of something (most likely) from his past. It's about saving others.
>He was counting on pirates figuring out that you need to be able to read the ancient language when they get to the end of the Grand Line
And how would they find that out? The Straw Hats only know that because they met some guys who were with Roger's crew, and they only met through luck, they didn't seek them out
Maybe he believed in Oden's dream of opening up Wano's borders to the world. Maybe that's the exact reason Oden asked this of Kinemon, so the kouzuki clan can sail the seas.
>how would they find that out
It's directly stated in this chapter that when you get to the point where all paths converge to one, that island reveals that you need to read the poneglyphs.
Thousands? What the fuck are you saying, he wanted thousands of pirates to flow the sea to fuck with the WG. It has always been implied like that. Finding the One Piece has always been aimed to one crew, the future pirate king crew.
Having honour is more important than saving others.
Zoro would not show cowardice to stay alive so he could protect the crew. Chopper would not abandon patients in need even if it endangered the crew.
Wano country opening their borders wouldn't really matter because Oden himself was the only one who could read and write the ancient language. He was supposed to teach Momo, but he was killed before he could.
Honour? There's no honor in letting others die. And Oda also stated that Sanji physically can't hit women. It's not about honor. It's useless if because of that all your nakamas die.
so why did roger declare that? all the backstory considered, it obviously wasn't just a simple treasure hunt.
>meanwhile in an italian Disney comic
>mfw these past few chapters
God damn, One Piece is showing it's still alive and kicking.
All the world building is indeed 10/10
And looks like Jack is going to town next chapter. I hope he doesn't get defeated now, though. A right hand of a Yonkou being solo'd here and now would kind of kill the tension
Dude, others die ALL THE TIME.
Zoro cares about the crew, but he would never show cowardice to stay alive "just because that way he could protect the crew".
Luffy punched that Tenryubito because it was the honourable thing to do, and realistically it could've gotten everyone on the crew killed.
Yeah, that would've been really convincing.
>Oh hey, guys, you might remember me from raping and pillaging the high seas but trust me, it's the WORLD GOVERNMENT that is truly evil because this one stone told me so
>all this world building info dump this arc
GRANT US EYES ODA GRANT US EYES
This arc is giving me the same vibes as the stretch of chapters post Enies Lobby when Garp visited Luffy.
Most likely instructions on how to find the Road Poneglyphs that lead you to Raftel.
Maybe instructions on how to read them as well, but who knows.
Main question is if the instructions are also written on Poneglyphs because then you're just fucked if you're not Robin
Literally is. Final poneglyph on Raftel will them to do this.
And all the fish from all 4 seas will be, guess where?
the last time they got something was in thriller bark. unless i missed something since the fishman island treasure was given to big mom and i cant remember if dressrosa kingdom gives a reward for straw hat
Of the current age?
Law and Luffy.
Maybe X Drake though, since he was a marine. And Aokiji, since he's a pirate now. By extension it's possible that Kaidou and Blackbeard know.
I get that. The thing is, sanji's honor is in protecting women, the fact that he doesn't hit them is that he's just incapable of that. So you say he'd let Nami die if there was no other way then defeating other female just to save his honour? I don't think so. You could say that he'd find another way out, etc., but if we imagine a situation with only one solution, he'd rather save nami.
He's still relevant I swear
You know this really isn't all that difficult to grasp
>tfw, like luffy, roger also had a weak ass fruit he used creatively to destroy the new world.
Something like the moustache moustache no mi
It seems to be a good message for kids
How hyped would you be?
>Sanji is literally, mechanically incapable of hitting a woman
The three-disasters are the right hand men of Kaidou. Even if we are to assume Jack is the weakest, if Luffy defeats it now it means that the only people that will stronger than Luffy will be the Yonkous, the Admirals and possibly some Shichibukai, which kinda kills the tension since we're still at the beginning of the New World
We are not at the beginning of the New World anymore, Yonko wars are starting. FI and PH were beginning of NW. Also there is CP0, Gorosei and other pirates (Kidd and his crew). And Luffy might not even be the one fighting Jack. And there was never tension in Luffy fighting anyone besides the main guy.
There's always another way. You can always try something else (and maybe die in the process).
But if that's what it takes to live honourably, people like Luffy, Zoro and Sanji will do it. That's a big message in One Piece, and I honestly cannot fathom how people still consistently miss it.
Kuzan (who is on Blackbeard's crew)
CP9 (not pirates but still)
All high ranking Marines (important because Doflamingo showed that big name pirates can have spies in the Marines)
According to catdog she'll be targeted, so it's not a very well kept secret. For example, Crocodile seeked her out and recruited her for the sole purpose of reading glyphs.
Exactly. He's coming back soon, I feel it. What I would like to see is that Doflamingo broke out when Jack caused trouble, and of course the WG covered his escape. If Croc and Dofla finally made their alliance, they'd probably have the most intel resources in the OP world.
i hope so, i fucking love crocodile but the last time they interacted luffy was still angry at him
hopefully someone told him that crocodile saved him
so he can be tsundere and show up to help luffy during the final war
we star wars now
>For example, Crocodile seeked her out and recruited her for the sole purpose of reading glyphs.
Pretty sure he put 2+2 together. Why would an 8 year old have a 79,000,000 bounty, and ALSO be from Ohara? And the world is supposed to believe that an 8 year old sunk 8 buster call battleships?
I think more people know than Oda lets on. Anyone who knows about the legendary weapons and poneglyphs probably knows.
His honor is in saving women. Not in not hitting them.
I see no problem with that, her being a woman being a cumdumpster is her only utility. In fatc Brook should be the one that's mad since women are subhuman pieces of garbage and they should all be raped and murdered if they refuse their role as cumdumpsters.
>next week, one piece will be on hiatus, we plan to resume publication with issue 18.
>Rayleigh, let's turn the world on its head!
I think Reverse Mountain can flip turn upside down, rather than be destroyed.
I'm kinda sad about the fact that Zoro isn't coming to save Sanji.
The thing I was most looking forward to was Zoro being the one to get to Sanji first and then say something along the lines of "The Strawhats wouldn't be the Strawhats without it's cook, come on."
Can't have that bro moment now, I guess.
Is my nigga making a return? Fucking finally
Oda evaded the question, so that probably means Sanji learned his honor code with Vinsmoke dad/mom.
It's the truth though. No SH showed him real and genuine affection, he's treated more like an acquaintance. If you reread the story it'll be painfully obvious.
So much shit is fucking happening in One Piece right now!!!!
Kaido vs Supernova trio.
Big Mom's tea party.
Revolution army meeting.
Blackbeard is about to crash that meeting.
Revolution brewing in Wano.
Fujitora can't return home until he's caught Luffy.
Weevil looking for Marko.
Nekomamushi now looking for Marko.
We'll probably either have the supernova trio become Kaido's bitches or they will want revenge and join the StrawLaw alliance.
Big Mom's tea party can go in a million different directions.
Revolutionaries may participate in the liberation of Wano.
Weevil's appearance already hinted at the whitebeard crew being relevant again. But now Marco's future importance is set in stone. But next time we actually see him, we might already be in Wano.
The Minkmen will be too injured for Chopper to leave after Jack's return, and if he can't go, neither can Pekoms who will DEFINITELY be too injured to leave without a doctor.
So with Monet on the ship, she'll have the vivre card to find Caesar, (you think her swooping in wherever he was, and being his bodyguard despite usually being halfway across the island is just poor writing? Monet had to know where Caesar was at all times) and finding Caesar means finding Capone which means finding Sanji. You see, she wants Caesar as bargaining for HER master's safety, as Kaidou is pissed because he needs the formula to get his artificial zoan army going again, and if he's not there to give it, it will be Dofla to pay. And Luffy can't just grab the card from her, because 1. he's not Law and 2. her cooperation will be useful to the team in their retrieval of Sanji.
Monet's going to help them get to Big Mom.
Of course it's only when Nami sees Lola at the wedding that they'll realize the Vivre Card she had would have taken her to Big Mom anyway, but that's only to help smooth things out once they're about to be put under and she realizes who Luffy means to them. There's no trigger that will give Nami that sort of connection by herself yet available.
>I'm mending again mom!
It's a joke about how a musician is clearly not needed in a secret infiltration that covers up the fact that brook obviously had a past with the vinsmokes and germa 66
Doctors and especially Chopper, aren't the sort to go 'hey I know you had all this triage you needed done but I really need to find my friend, you're all staffed up right? Great, see ya later~'
Reposting because I posted in the dead shit thread
Where will shanks fit into everything? Every emperor is accounted for but shanks can literally show up anywhere. Will he crash big moms wedding party? Will he show up on wano? Will he intercept/follow BBs crew and help out dragon?
>tfw the "kaido steals chopper to use his rumble balls" theory isn't confirmed
I was hoping there would be some connection between Chopper and the minks, even if for a little bit
Also what was up with the sheep dude Nami was sleeping on?
Wano is going to be huge. It involves:
>Pirates of Heart
>Marco and the remnants of WB's crew
Plus the possibility of:
>Kid Alliance going after or having joined with Kaidou
>Weevil going after Marco
>Straw Hat Fleet help
>Whoever Luffy meets at the Tea Party
Luffy confirmed for getting ahead with Nami's namis before Samji.
No Punk Hazard doesn't count because Nami was unable to protest once Sanji was out of her line of sight.
I know. But Marijoeis and FI are on the opposite of Reverse Mountain. In the posted map it would be splitted to the far left and far right. Destroying Reverse Mountain would make no sense
Brook is the 3rd best sh right below franky and luffy.
Strawhats already have enough manpower for a war especially with a mink and samurai army and Whitebeard general.
I do think Big Mam will become friends with Luffy though.
I just want to see what would happen if two Yonkou fought each other. Who would come in to take down the weakened one?
yeah I can't see Luffy fighting a full-scale higher than Doffy-tier fight with a woman
i am so excited about Roger being alive.
he probably is on the last island the log pose points to.
he will teach luffy how to fully unleash the power of the strawhat, which obv is an ancient weapon.
they both also want Caeser
this b8 tickled me, thank you anon
we should all take into account that the war on Raftel is going to overshadow everything about to happen at Wano. What other tricks does Oda have up his sleeve?
could it be that actually raftel is NOT the last island shown in log poses? maybe it's an untraceable island where you have to locate through the road phoneglyps after you read the rio phoneglyph
Don't be a speed reader.
>I want to allow you to marry me.
>If anything he resembles Aokiji
Scopper aint looking nothing like Aokiji.
Eitherway, it may resemble Scopper in that the visible hair is his pony tail and has turned gray with time.
Shichibukai isn't a tier, and Vice Admiral isn't either. Shichibukai range from Buggy to Mihawk. VA range from Maynard to Garp.
In fact, Admiral isn't either, Garp was probably stronger than the three admirals before the timeskip.
Given the life robin and nami have lived, they're more then likely degenerate, cock addicts, That probably have to bang everyone on the crew, including each other, but who do you think there favorite is?
I'm not taking about who they are going to "end up with" or "love" or any of that other delusional shit you retarded shippers want for some reason.
I'm talking about there favorite no string , wont get attached, awesome fuck. It's gotta be:
1. Franky-niggers a cyborg, girls love there toys.
2. Luffy-Oda said his wang stretches.
3. Monster chopper-Nast beast-fucking bitches. Plus, sense they were both repeatedly raped as children, they're more likely to wanna pass on the loving.
lest likely to get banged: Sanji- super desperate, way to horny, probably "fall in love", get super obsessive and jealous, ugly.
She fits the description perfectly. In the next pages after that she tells Nami that she is her "sworn sister," and that the vivre card she gave her will lead her to Lola's mom, who they should go to for help if they ever need it.
If they're ever gonna need it it's vs Kaido.
You're a fucking tard. Whitebeard's crew was without there captain, and ace. Plus, BB's got 2 of the best fruits at his disposal, of coarse marco was going to get fucked up (especially sense a lot of his mojo comes from his df power, which bb turns off)
Just like BB is against mother fucking Dragon and his god damn ARMY you fucking shit for brains.
Also, BB's a schemer when something happens that fits what he planned, it's probably gonna go his way. Surprises are a different story.
Lola's definitely Big Mom's daughter. How many times has the trope of 'mob boss gonna kill the protags/BUT WAIT they know his daughter so they're friends now' been a thing? But it's got to be a twist, they can't just go there with that knowledge beforehand or it ruins the flow of the trope it's got to be a 'surprise'.
So they aren't going to follow the Vivre Card to mom. Either Pekoms or someone else will get them in and THEN it will get revealed when they need it to be the most.
>any devil fruit
Although it might take some time to convince that the jake jake no mi isn't trash, finding a devil fruit would be an almost immediate eat unless you're a civilian who wants to sell it
They all have the potential to be insanely good, but some are easier than others or have a
Even without being a powerhouse, gomu gomu is at worst decent
daily reminder that nekomamushi is already the best character in one piece
I think Shanks will end up talking to Buggy or something, I wouldn't like him being with Dragon, because it would make it seem like if he wasn't there then Dragon would job to BB like WB Pirates (minus WB) did
I hope he isn't, just because I like the idea of him being a little bitch from the Barrel Pirates all the way up to now, just betraying everybody
>implying Brook doesn't hear by soundwaves impacting with his bones
>implying Brook hasn't planted one of his many bones with the Gorosei, showing how ingenious and needed to the Strawhats he really is
>implying the Strawhats won't learn about the Gorosei's true motives through Brook when he says I can't believe my ears!
OH WAIT I DON'T HAVE ANY EARS
I like all the revelations by Mr. PLOT and Mr. EXPOSITION.
Pardon, I mean Neko and Ino.
But now we know what Marco was up to, namely losing to Blackbeard. It would have been strange for BB to acquire WB's old territory and be considered a Yonko if Marco had not been btfo, so it's not that much of a surprise.
And I am glad I'm used to the breaks by now.
>reading all these "everyone is a former roger pirate now" posts
>people acting like we are still in East Blue
>for a while people thought Anti-thesis of Adventure: The Character would actually join the crew
It's good that he's making a habit of splitting the crew up and letting them do their own shit. The cast is too big now for them to share focus without characters getting short-changed or the result being disappointing and anti-climactic (IE Fishman Island).
I realize I'm in the majority here, but I really like Dressrosa a lot and I think it benefited from this system late in the game.
the amount of times this has happened, will we ever see what happened during that battle?
Maybe during a Marco/BB rematch we can have a flashback, along with Aokiji/Akainu
and all of the fucking training that everybody got over the timeskip
especially Sanji's since I want it to be revealed so badly to his family that he turned into a faggot for the entire timeskip
Yes, and you can bet you ass that BB vs Dragon will also happen off-screen. Oda will never shift the focus from Luffy and the SHs because the story is about them. Deal with it.
These could be awesome opportunities for the anime to fill up some content, instead of doing intense staring battles to stretch out a chapter's content to a twenty minutes episode.
One can dream.
Fuck off, we had 1 and a half freaking years with the other half. Finally Chopper and the rest will do something more relevant. About freaking, fucking goddamn time.
>implying there is such a thing as "worst strawhats"
