Dumping a new Fate/strange Fake manga chapter. All suggestions are welcomed.
Act 4. Caster and police chief time, with a surprise guest at the end.
I never felt quite satisfied by translating it as the Twenty Eight Monsters/Beasts due to the original myth being about a monster composed of that number of people, so I went with this. I'm still not quite sure though.
It's also worded oddly in japanese. She is trying to say that it's not even clear when or where was when that Servant manifested in the first place.
>. She is trying to say that it's not even clear when or where was when that Servant manifested in the first place.
u wot m8
That's even more confusing.
Are you trying to say they know nothing about the Servant? Or that they know nothing about that couple mentioned earlier?
What she is trying to say is that they only know that the Kuruokas summoned a Servant. They don't know the time when they did or the where, that's why it's odd.
Well, is something that is explained in the next chapter anyway, that Servant is quite an oddball.
And that's it, after this one there is another black page and then the next chapter starts.
I can fix some lines like >>138666116 if there are some suggestions, and after it's done I would upload the chapter to imgur or a place like that so someone can get it and upload it into the pertinent online manga sites and all of that.
We did Act 2, 3 and 4. We have the prologue and Act 1 halfway done but we priorized these one because the other were already translated anyway.
We plan to release all of them once it's done if we have the time to do so. There is also some stuff in Act 2 I wasn't specially proud so that one will definitely be redone in some way once the complete volume is done.
Francesca knows Gilles yeah, she mentions him later.
Did we ever got the answer of who voiced Francesca in the trailer?
Damn, from what I've heard so far and those chapters, this spin off sounds rad as fuck, but the chapters releases take way too fucking long.
And does this master have a dildo or something?
Yes and the most promising spin-off so far.
It's a LN made by Narita (Baccano, Durarara) so it writing style fit perfectly with a holy grail war which come necessary with a bunch of character.
So far it's awesome.
The Einzbern summoned Ruler in the third war in the Apocrypha timeline instead of Avenger like in F/SN. Ruler is supposed to be an impartial judge for the war and and among other things get two command seals for each servant in the war to keep them in line and make sure they follow the rules.
You summon Ruler rather than having a member of the church come out and play guard at times, to make sure the magus don't go out of bounds.
Ruler class is a class that's above other classes in some ways, it enforces the rules.
Its a class for saints, which is fitting for guardians of the holy grail. There have been two ruler class servants to date; Joan of Arc, and Amakusa Shirou.
She is talking about Jeanne D'Arc from Fate/Apocrypha. The Ruler class is a special kind of Servant that is summoned by the Grail itself under two posible conditions. The Grail War itself is compromised or the world is at serious danger.
>LN made by Narita
so it's a ln about a conflict between multiple small groups of characters with multiple PoVs from the guy who wrote baccano (which is about conflicts between multiple small groups of characters with different povs) and drrr (which is about conflicts between multiple small groups of characters with different povs)
Yes, it'a assemble cast although there is a more high profile 'protagonist' group: Ayaka with Saber (Richard the Lionheart supposedly), Lancer Enkidu (and his wolf golem Master), Tine and Archer Gilgamesh), and Flat (with his Servant Berserker Jack the Ripper, but he's more a main character).
Incidentally, these have already ties established with each other for future cooperation. Flat met Ayaka. Enkidu met Richard.
Nasu didn't either, that was a translator making up shit from a interview. Also Sieg turned boring due to Higashide, he actually has some scenes in the very last volume that make him interesting. Too bad everything is ruined by the retarded dragon ending.
Sieg as an idea isn't really bad, he is basically a Shirou expy with a different twist, so he kind of represents what Apocrypha is about.
The problem was Higashide's actual execution on it and the ending.
Didn't made up anything. I have Apocrypha material and Nasu is the one behind Sieg, Jeanne and Astolfo abortion plothole. He's even proud of it.
No really, all he used were his NP and it's explicit in the text. The manga version makes it more a big deal, but the LN he wrote, it's nothing really that wankstatic. Gilgamesh still jobbed to towel man and Richard is ntring mudman from him. He's not perfect at any rate.
>The problem was Higashide's actual execution on it and the ending.
It wasn't Higashide's execution, Nasu wrote those parts. Higashide had little to do with that arc. The things Higashide wrote was everything else but the Sieg parts.
>a character who somehow becomes stronger than Siegfried and can explode bullets and black keys with his hands by touching them and has unlimited mana and makes Jeanne fall for him for no fucking reason because he has no sexual desire is a good idea
He's a full chuuni Gary Stu.
I have Apocrypha Material and nowhere is said such a thing. That claim was supposedly from an interview in the TM Ace, learn your facts. And as I said, it was made up by shinichamaleon.
Nasu didn't write a thing in Apocrypha, he was just the supervisor. Stop making up bullshit, Apo is not GO where they write as a team, the only LN we got confirmation Nasu wrote something was Case Files, and that was just Atrum lines.
That's the execution as I said. The idea is selfless character who is like if he was just born and learns to be human during the story. It's the same old tinker man gets a heart story that Fate usually is about.
The LN goes the same about their fight and even goes even further into wonkers territory saying things like the world was destroyed and rebuilt seven times during the clash. And the True Archer fight was left unfinished, so it's hard to call it jobbing at this point.
Still, I meant that all the stuff about Gilgamesh and Enkidu role and backstory in CCC is thrown in that scene in one way or another.
Hanza Cervantes show us that the Church in Nasuverse is just great.
>when it was said that nobody in modern times can count as heroes?
That has been completely retconned. Just take Tesla for example, he is one of the most modern servants that have been confirmed and he also ended up being top tier.
It was never an absolute rule, just that it's harder because how the world is in the present and the Age of Man being so advanced.
Also, him not looking like his picture is irrelevant because other people like Tesla is the same. He just looks like this in Nasuverse.
Loli Jack isn't even the true Jack.
>Because the true identity of Jack the Ripper has never been made clear, its shape changes in accordance with which Class it is summoned into. In this case, having manifested as an Assassin, it is an aggregation of children who were not allowed to be born.
>She, who was summoned as Assassin, calls herself "Jack the Ripper"; but even her doesn't know if she is really the "true culprit". Although she has memories of killing several women, it is also unknown if they were Jack's victims.
This Jack is other side of Jack the Ripper, this time the mystery itself of never being caught.
The same way that Andersen and Shakespeare do. They create legends, they are important enough and left an important footprint in some part of human uncouncious.
They are still weak as fuck as Heroic Spirits and only work as gimmick Servants.
Best thing you can be as a caster is a gimmick servant.
You cannot compete with Sabers in power levels, so you want to just have one very good niche that can surpass them with effort instead.
Tamamo has also beaten Gozen twice in CQC, not because she was stronger necessarily, but due to tactics and a bit of skill.
You still get fucked up a lot trying it though if you're just an average Caster. Tamamo is a Caster who isn't afraid to get rough and fight close.
A good servant can qualify for many classes.
It was F/SN that told us that he's such a great wizard, he could be Caster as well. Its not really a bad class for him, Wickerman is strong.
I bet tamamo can beat many servants at sex
I'd say he can summon giant wood golems a lot better as Caster. We saw this wood golem fucking up three servants at once in the most recent PV.
He is better at druidism, because he never knew about it during his life and being summoned as a Caster gives him knowledge of it. His runes are still nerfed though due to it. He talks about it in his interlude.
That's how it used to be, anon.
Remember, in FSN, the only Servants with more than one Noble Phantasm (that they could actually use) were... Medusa, with her pegasus and blood fortress, and Gilgamesh, who was ridiculously exceptional for just that reason. Arturia only had Avalon in theory, and everyone else had the one.
Technically Gilgamesh only has one NP, the key to his treasury.
Its just that his one NP, gives him access to countless other NPs. Just like how UBW in itself is only counted as one NP.
Although now they've confirmed that his ability to see the future is an EX rank NP in itself even though it doesn't have a physical form, so I guess he always has two NPs.
Yeah, this a neat idea, but it kind of falls apart the exact instant they meet someone with a nasty AoE attack, or an anti-human effect, or just someone fast enough to lolno their very, very human physical abilities.
Even just looking at the most basic sort of Noble Phantasm that gets spread around, a single Excaliblast should clear the field of these police officers. I guess maybe those two magic shields are supposed to help shield all of them?
This is the equivalent of taking on a combat mecha with bazooka-armed infantry - yeah, maybe it'll work, but only if the mecha is willing to be drawn into poor conditions. I look forward to seeing them btfo, to be honest.
Its a personal skill that manifests as an NP, kind of like Mata Hari's charm being represented as an NP.
Its talked about in KoGil's entry
However its said that he's always suppressing it
>Sha Naqba Imuru
>Omniscient and Omnipotent Star Rank: EX
>The mentality of the King of Heroes - which spread across all corners of the world as if the brilliance of the stars, seeing through all creation - sublimated into a Noble Phantasm. A continuously invoked-type Noble Phantasm. In regards to this work, the only Noble Phantasm he performs the release of True Name is "The Treasury of the King".
>The efficacy of the Noble Phantasm, Sha Naqba Imuru, is tremendous; not to mention the opponent's True Name and Noble Phantasm, it can even see through a heavily concealed truth with a single glance. Although it is in a condition of being continuously invoked, one can also assume that it is being intentionally restrained.
Well, in his defense I say the guy had a pretty meme-tier crazy-tale-of-a-life for a scientist, alright.
Also he is the originator of the crazy evil scientist archetype. If someone deserves to be a more modern heroic spirit, it's Tesla.
>tfw he said he got in contact with ayyliens
>in the type verse that would be the equivalent of getting in touch with a divine spirit or a goddam TYPE
Also that small manga by Araki is prettygood.
I find his thing about making legends a lot more interesting now that Grand Order has revealed
Though that still relies on his event that's supposed to start tomorrow.
I wonder what's going to happen for this year's April Fools.
Tentacle child grape caster teacher who gave him his seafood cookbook is a little girl.
Welcome to fate: everybody is seiba, and who is not seiba is of course a little girl. For example, I'm seiba, so you must be a little girl for sure.
Fate is a game of territories between clones.
The only way to not be absorbed into someone elses territory, is to create a nation of your own so you can't be easily conquered. If you are a character without clones of your own, or only have one or two clones, you might be conquered by the Saber army and will be forced to become Saber clones.
In order to not become a Saber clone, you need to have your own group of clones. Only if you have a decent number of clones can you be called an individual ironically.
The main factions of clones at the moment are Saber, Sakura, Tamamo, and Shiki.
>Hey guys, we need a really op guy
>Let's give one guy ALL the weapons
>That's a great idea, but we made even more op guys since him, and that's no longer enough. How can we make him even more op?
>Guess we have to just make him jesus
He's pretty damn far from Jesus. He doesn't like saving people, generally might kill humanity, has no interest in being a savior or helping at all. In fact he gets off on others pain.
In fact in CCC he says the type of human that he finds to be the worst out of all of them, are the messiah types that aren't just talk, like Jesus.
Its the reason he's disgusted by Kiara
